I went with making this one this morning at work. All the teas in my ‘tea drawer’ have lost the majority of their flavour, sadly. It’s my own fault. I need to organize myself this weekend, and put my loose teas within bags, then within extra tins I have lying around for my work tea drawer. Ziplocs are just not the way to go. Sigh.

I was staring at my bagel with cashew butter I’d brought for my breakfast and got such a craving for breakfast tea with milk. I headed off to my favourite office around the bend, where they keep a lovely stash of bagged teas. Of the three ladies that work in that office, one is from Ireland and brought Irish breakfast back on her last trip home. I snagged one of this for my milk tea and bagel this morning. It’s really hitting the spot, now that’s it’s nearly lunch hour hah.

Any suggestions on a great Irish breakfast are welcome – both for my own cupboard and to share at work.

I often forget just how delicious this tea is. Went against my judgement tonight and made this. I’m so happy I did. The creaminess of it is really hitting the spot. I love the black green base and the roastiness, too. Just all around an amazing tea.

In this moment, this tastes like hot buttered raisin toast. Brilliant.

I mixed it up again tonight after going on about what specific straight black teas I most enjoy to Alexa. Yum, assam!

This one turned out perfectly. I have a real love of TTC, just from the one small order I placed with them months back.

The tea is rapidly cooling now, and tasting even better. More sweetness is coming through, with subtle stonefruits, and maybe even some hay. Delightful.

I brought this tea to my entire afternoon meeting yesterday and made it for us to bring to the Remembrance Day ceremony this morning. I really have found a love of this one much greater than the first time I tried it.

It tastes like a liquid speculaas cookie!

Also, it inspired me to check out the Verdant website, which I haven’t opened for months, since the disaster of all my teas being smoky on my last order – especially my beloved Vanilla Citrus Spice. Sigh.

However, I’ve made my peace with that when I gave those teas to A’s family. I am wondering though – are blends available from Verdant any longer? I couldn’t find this one on their website.

Now that our tea cupboard has been reunited, I noticed CVA and PTA when I went to make my second cuppa today. I much prefer them mixed half and half, and it is awesome still.

Just the subtlest hint of caramel vanilla – more vanilla, and then much more of the base tea, which as we all know, is just amazing.

Sipping away at this early this afternoon. I actually prefer this one a touch more cool than I normally do for other teas. I find the cantaloupe comes through a bit more clearly. Tasty.

I don’t often crave this one, but we just brought it back from A’s family and I felt like throwing something different in the mix for the never-ending studying.

I miss writing tea notes and chatting with you guys. I’ve not come quite back around to tea. I start my morning with a delicious coffee (don’t worry – I’ve also become a coffee snob, sigh).

But I’m sitting here tonight drinking this delicious, rapidly depleting tea. I haven’t done much research into what could possibly replace this once it’s gone. I really need to start that. Tonight this is delicious. I’ve been forgetting to drink my tea until it’s a little too cool, but I caught this one just at the right temperature.

A lovely tea to sip while I study away.

I’m clutching my cup of blackberry lime this evening as I study for my calculus exam tomorrow. Sigh.

And by ‘study’, I mean sit here and ponder about mathematicians. I’m perplexed as to who would possibly choose to finalize an answer with a square root rather than an exponent. And so it goes.

I shall just try to enjoy each sip of tea and make it through this exam, so the rest of the weekend can be enjoyed afterward.

P.S. We ordered our turkey for Thanksgiving today from a local farm! It’s our first Thanksgiving celebrated together, and also the first attempt for either of us to cook Thanksgiving dinner. It should be quite interesting.
