1789 Tasting Notes
(164) I couldn’t remember drinking this one before, so I cold-steeped it for the evening. And I like it. It’s cherry – very tart and not too sweet – yet somehow it does convey the cherry snowcone thing that it was going for. I think it’s because they totally NAILED the cherry.
I’m happy I tried it, but I’m not convinced I want more. Maybe if it’s on sale at the end of the season?
(166) It’s Sil’s fault that I finished this today because we were talking about it so I thought about it, and now it’s gone. No rush to buy more bc it’s so insanely artificially sweet, but it was fun while I had it!
(Well… maybe 20g more?)
Sil said a few things about how she loved this tea to make me think that maybe I should give it another chance as I was fairly indifferent about it. I waited for a cool day and tried it, and it was good. I’m still not nuts about nutty teas, but they’re good to have around for the occasional craving!
I think I preferred their green chestnut without the chocolate, which is strange because you’d think adding chocolate to anything would be a win.

I was stalking DavidsTea’s Facebook page the other day and I think the Fall teas arrive August 26th, which means they’ll phase the summer teas out….just FYI. ;)
Oh, that’s awesome news! I have 100g in Free Tea,, so it’d be great if I could use the on the new teas before my points expire!
Wow! 100g! That’s awesome!
I ended up buying a lot of teaware and gifts, so that was pretty awesome.
