624 Tasting Notes
I really like this peppermint tea because of the strong peppermint taste I get from it. It’s not a wimpy, mild, watered down peppermint. The taste is solid. Perfect for when I’m having tummy troubles. Helps to settle my stomach nicely. I always like to have peppermint tea on hand and this brand suits me just fine.

50th tasting note! Woot, woot! A mild green tea with a very light hint of mango. Pretty good as far as flavoured green tea goes. A reliable tea. Doesn’t turn bitter if left to steep for too long which I like since I drink all my tea with the bag in.
Flavors: Green, Mango
When I go out to eat lunch or dinner at a restaurant and ask for a green tea, this is almost always the one that is brought to me. Tends to be a little strong and bitter for my taste but I don’t dislike it, I just wouldn’t buy this brand for myself to have at home. There are other brands of green tea that I prefer over this one.
Flavors: Green
When I get tired of drinking plain green tea, this one is a nice alternative. A mild green tea with a tropical twist. The green tea goes so well with the zing from the fruits. Makes me feel like I’m sipping tea on a tropical island somewhere! This tea always makes an enjoyable cup for me.
Flavors: Citrus, Green, Tropical
Day 24 of the advent calendar. I’m sitting here on Christmas Eve sipping away at a mug of this tea and watching Downton Abbey on Netfix. I like how smooth this tea is. A creamy mix of mint and vanilla. It’s simple and comforting. I’m glad I bought over 100 grams of it, so I shouldn’t run out any time soon. This is one that I can see myself cozying up to all winter long.
Flavors: Creamy, Mint, Vanilla
Day 23 of the advent calendar. Let me start off by saying that I hate eggnog. My parents always drank it during the holidays when I was growing up but I couldn’t even stand the look or smell of it. I would never have purchased this tea had it not been one of the samples the day that I went in. When the sales person said “eggnog” I thought…..ewwwww, yuck!" I drank the sample she handed me anyway and to my surprise it wasn’t half bad. I actually liked it! This doesn’t really taste like true eggnog to me (which is a good thing.) I get a sweet, creamy nutmeg flavour with a hint of vanilla. I drank this with a splash of milk to make it even creamier. Nutmeg is the star of the show here. A nice, light, creamy, slightly sweet nutmeg. That’s what this is to me, a nutmeg tea. I think real lovers of eggnog or people who like really strong, bold flavours will be disappointed but for me, it’s perfectly understated and mild which is exactly what it is that makes me like it. Yum!

Day 22 of “24 Days of Tea.” The smell of the dry tea and the smell once it’s been steeped is delightful. I like the smell of this tea more than I like the taste. It’s not terrible but it’s far from being a favourite. It’s just “okay.” If the hibiscus wasn’t in this, I would rate it higher. Too tart for me. I even sweetened it up with some agave nectar and it was still too tart. Has a nice apple-cinnamon flavour that I like, along with a touch of nuttiness. Steeps to a beautiful, deep red colour. I like it but I don’t love it. Darn that pesky hibiscus!
Flavors: Apple, Cinnamon, Hibiscus, Nutty, Tart
