Sipdown!! (167)
I don’t know what I did with this cup but it is tasting very weak and watered down today. I am getting vanilla water which is especially upsetting as this is the last of my sample. Oh well, c’est la vie. Anyways, thank you Veronica for sharing this tea with me. I am very glad I got to try it out.
Preparation
This cooled quite a bit but it is still cinnamon roll in a cup. I like it best hotter but this one never fails to be tasty. I have one more cup of dry leaf left and I will be sad to see it go. I do have some Strawberry Pie Honeybush on the way so there’s that.
Preparation
After this I am only one cup away from finishing this sample from Dexter3657. The only problem is, the more I drink this, the less pleasant it is. I recalled enjoying the first cup but this cup, today, is very strongly tasting of rooibos with some chemical additives. I have no idea what went wrong but I am debating about dumping this one out. Thank you Dexter3657, this tea has definitely been an interesting experience.
Preparation
I made some of this to go in my tumbler but throughout the day something happened and this tea just did not hold up well. I had a few sips when I first went out that tasted of earl grey and some vanilla but by the end of the day it was undrinkable.
Preparation
Backlog: I had a bit of this while I had lunch and the sweet, juicy, blueberry flavor was really hitting the spot. However, I ran out before finishing the glass and assumed this would be really great cold (I thought it would taste just like blueberry juice). Unfortunately it was kind of disappointing, not bad, but not as flavorful as I had anticipated.
Preparation
I’ve had this cold – it was alright. I’m actually cold brewing a pitcher right now, so I’m excited to see if there’s a drastic taste difference between just drinking it cold and cold brewing some!
Ooooh. I have always been curious as to how black teas taste when cold brewed. I have only really cold brewed herbals and some greens so I have always wondered if blacks are as flavorful when prepared using the same methods.
Well I finally am able to try this tea hot and it actually does taste of pear. However, there is an artificial sweetness that is making the tea taste slightly strange. Due to that, this won’t be something I order but the sample won’t be too hard to finish up. Thank you Roswell Strange for helping me take this one off my list.
Preparation
One of the perks of being in the states, 24 hour stores! My tea drinking time has been significantly cut down as I have been in malls until 2 am. YAY (for the shopping, not the lack of tea drinking)! Anyways, today I am at home and that means time to have some tea:)
The first tea I reached for was this sample that Veronica sent me. I considered picking this up in the Black Friday sale but had bought so much already that I decided against it. Honestly, having tried it, I am not too sad that I missed picking this up – not because I do not like it but because taste wise I am finding it to be a muted version Glitter & Gold with a bit of mint thrown in. Very good flavor but most likely I would end up reaching for Glitter & Gold instead. With that said, I won’t have any problem getting through this sample. Thank you Veronica for sharing it with me. I am really glad I got to try it.
Preparation
I made this in my tumbler and planned on taking it with me today as my mother and I shopped. However, my mom has taken so long to get ready that I have just been sipping away at this and am almost done. Oh well, at least it is tasty and delicious. I may have underleafed this slightly as the flavor is not as strong as usual but I am still getting notes of the raspberry and coconut that I love so much. Yum!! At this rate, I will have enough time to finish this off and make another tea to take to the mall :)

Confession time!! I do not like eggnog. I only ever had it once because some guy randomly hitting on a friend in a residence cafeteria tried convincing her that eggnog was so amazing she had to go up to his room to try some right away. She did not but obviously we were all very curious as to what this “gift from the gods” tasted like and so we walked over to the grocery store and picked up a carton. We all tried a little and the rest got poured out because we hated it. That was my experience with eggnog and it was not pleasant. Consequently, this tea didn’t really appeal to me (especially since Stacy tends to nail her flavors and I feared it would actually taste like eggnog). With that said, so many reviews compared this to vanilla ice cream and other tasty treats that I (1) started to become interested in this tea and (2) I started to question if the eggnog I tried was not a very good representation of what eggnog is meant to taste like. Luckily, Roswell Strange was kind enough to send me a sample to try and as fast as it arrive, it left. I am pleased to say that I am actually enjoying this cup. It is creamy and sweet and tastes a bit like vanilla bean ice cream with a dash of eggyness. However, the flavor was more subtle than I anticipated and I found myself wanting it to be more dominant and in-your-face, rather than timidly hiding in the cup. All in all, not bad and so I am happy that I was able to try it out. Thank you Roswell Strange!!Preparation
Apparently Steepster will not listen to my formatting and insists on making this post one giant paragraph instead of several smaller ones.
I am not a huge fan of coffee but for some reason I am always drawn to coffee flavored teas. This is definitely a tasty cup. First sip, I just got coffee but as I continued to drink some of the other flavors start to come through and change the taste – the best way I could describe this is a sweet and nutty coffee. Great for anyone who likes coffee and not bad for non-coffee drinkers also. However, due to my personal feelings toward coffee, I do not think this will be a restock. Though I doubt the sample will be very hard to get through.
