Very strong fruit aroma. Mainly cherries, but also strawberries. Raspberries and red currants hide in the background.
Dry taste, with no sweetness at all and slight earthy notes of the black tea.
Not bad.

The colour is pale gold with a slight haziness.
Strong fruity aroma with blueberries and goji in balance, a bit sweetish.
The taste is also sweetish, slightly fruity, with straw notes from low-quality base green tea.
Mediocre tea, not recommended.

drank Liquorice by Pickwick
276 tasting notes

The aroma is dominated by liquorice, but you can smell some oolong notes.
And the taste? Very sweet from liquorice, that totally shadows everything else.

Very one dimensional tea. There should be 50% liquorice in it, not 70%, because both oolong and black tea are as well nonexistent.

Flavors: Earth, Licorice, Sweat

Preparation
205 °F / 96 °C 5 min, 0 sec 2 g 7 OZ / 200 ML

At first no quince in aroma, just earthy, malty base tea. After the brew cools down a little,, it becomes quite strong.
In taste there’s a nice balance between quince and tea notes.
All in all it’s nothing special, but passable.

Flavors: Fruity

Strong black currant aroma, obviously. A lot of notes from blackberry leaves, only a trace of lemon peels.
The taste is significantly sour, very fruity, a bit tart.
That’s a really decent fruit tea.

Strong florl bergamot aroma with slight spicy notes.
Spicyness evident in taste, with very subtle bergamot. The base black tea seems bland and watery.
Can’t recommend it. Not very “earlgreyish”.

drank Black Lemon by Teekanne
276 tasting notes

Strong lemon aroma that gradually subsides, leaving almost only the base black malty tea.
The taste is slightly sour and slightly lemon, with strong malty and earthy notes.

Not bad, but if it comes to lemon teas, I definitely prefer those with peels instead of concentrated juice. They are just more rich and aromatic.

Bio

I drink tea almost all the time.

However, my tea drinking can be divided into two main categories.

1. I work a lot at my computer and when I work, I need to always have tea at hand. That’s when I drink bag varieties, mostly black blends, often corporate ones. They need to be at least drinkable, of course, but I don’t focus on the taste much, though I don’t go below a certain level…

2. When I read (and read a lot) or when I’m just relaxing, I savor tea. That’s when the better varieties come into play, that’s when I use leafs instead of bags, that’s when I really focus on what I’m drinking.

I’m Polish, temporarily living in Copenhagen, Denmark.
