Not too bitter, not too flowery, a nice balance.

This tea was a gift from a friend, as I do not usually buy mate or tea with any of the following ingredients: rose petals, cloves, licorice, or pineapple. I could not drink it hot, since the overwhelming taste was of licorice. When I poured it over ice, the taste was sweet, but still tainted by the sweet bitterness caused by the licorice and rose petals. I think I may try to give this tea to one of my friends. The “whole-leaf pouch” is ridiculously adorable, though. It’s crocheted closed and the string is crocheted and attached to the paper. My other problem with this tea is that it is individually wrapped in plastic. Seems like a waste of materials.

One of my favorite on the go teas… very soothing and full of flavor!

I’ve practically been bouncing off the walls since I watched Canada win gold in the Men’s Moguls – the first gold medal won on Canadian soil, whoot!

So in an effort to calm down and get to sleep I knocked back a cup of this. It seems to be working, or maybe it’s just the late hour. Anyways, I’m off to bed – ’night all! :D

The flavour is very nice and light, an interesting variation on the basic chamomile tea. It was nice on my poor, sore stomach after I’d been sick for awhile.

It was really good. I actually wrote a review to be posted on the Tea Review Blog.

Blended this iced with Rishi Blueberry Rooibos, Adagio Pi Lo Chun, Mighty Leaf Organic Spring Jasmine, Numi Rooibos. I love Jasmine + lemon grass combo and thought it would be good to add just a little bit into the iced mixture.

I’m not exactly sure what to say about this one. It’s minty and very sweet. It’s hard to say if the Gunpowder adds anything special. It’s very good as far as mint teas go, though.

Out of curiosity, does this taste like the Morrocan Mint from Teavana or is it more like the peppermint from Teavana?

The black tea in this blend is very strong, while the orange and vanilla flavors take a back seat. A little sweetener (I used agave nectar) brings the orange flavors right to the front and makes this tea a wonderful iced tea.

Potpourri appearance with whole herbs displayed in an organza (ultra fine mesh) sachet. I love a good-lookin’ tea! A tsp of light agave nectar rounded the flavor out and added body. Similar to the less pricey Stash Lemon Blossom, but lacks it’s lemony zip. Very good in its own, milder way. I taste safflower, but it’s not in the ingredients listed by Mighty Leaf. P.S. Thanks to Becky, my tea swap partner, who sent me such a fine selection!

I come back to this tea because of the brisk kick it gives and the peach/apricot fruit notes in the aroma and aftertaste

Not a favorite, but OK for the price.

I found some in my stash at work today. I can finally wake up! This is by far my favorite Earl Grey. I think I enjoy it better than Samovar’s pot of gold. I don’t drink a ton of black tea, but when I do, I definitely prefer Earl Grey. As my co-worker says, it’s very “minty” on the nose. Yum.
