Mighty Leaf Tea

I didn’t realize I had this sitting around until I was poking around looking for just the right tea. Nice way to start the day.

Backlogging for yesterday. Great tea, but didn’t get to finish the cup. :(

Good tea for night time.

Great bedtime tea. Soothing, tasty, and just an all around feel good tea. Steeped with boiling water 5-6 minutes.

I like this more when not comparing and contrasting with other green teas.

Probably my least favorite from the tea tasting. It’s good, but I much prefer http://www.steepster.com/teas/takaokaya/genmai-cha to it.

I finally got around to another cup of this, and this time brewed it strongly based on my last tasting note. This cuppa wasn’t watery, it was quite definitely a green tea with a slightly earthy taste. I liked it!

A bit watery taste, but you know you’re drinking green tea. A bit of an aftertaste.

I hadn’t had this in a while, and apparently my tastes have shifted. Or maybe it doesn’t hold up well over time? I still caught the earthy tones I tasted the first time, but just doesn’t stand out as what I’m looking for when I want to have a cup of green tea. I could, however, see how this one might grown on you if you gave it a chance. I’m just not sure that I’m interested in working that hard to like it.
