I appreciate the lower caffeine dose, and could see this as an evening cup. It’s darker than the rest of the Japanese green teas in the sampler pack, and earthier.

I combined lemongrass with other fruity teas (some White Monkey, a hint of orange dulce, some african nectar), and cold brewed it! So refreshing especially with some squeezed mandarin oranges.

I bought this on a whim, initially finding the concept a bit strange, as Vanilla Bean was something I had always associated with coffee beverages. I found it a different and interesting experience, but overall a pleasurable drink. I was a bit disappointed by how few times I could re-steep, but this certainly did not detract from the novelty of this tea.
