720 Tasting Notes
I’ve been generally over earl grey for the last couple years, but this sounded too good for me to pass up….and I LOVE it. The bergamot is pretty bold, but the lavender is the most prominent flavor for me. The cardamom, vanilla, and bit of maple make It taste like an earl grey lavender cookie. I had it at work this morning, and just started brewing another cup after I got home.
Flavors: Bergamot, Cardamon, Cookie, Lavender, Maple, Vanilla
Yummmmmm. This is the tea that made me place my first Dessert By Deb order. I love hojicha, and feel like it’s so under-utilized in flavored blends. The maple is subtle and works really well here. It’s bready, and the cinnamon is bold. It really tastes like a toasted piece of cinnamon swirl bread. Tried with and without oat milk, and both ways are tasty. I think I prefer with milk.
Having this again this morning. SO GOOD. Perfectly creamy, with just a bit of salt. I’m going to have to place a DF to grab more of this. I’ve also decided to grab their advent again. I wasn’t going to…but I can’t resist.
It’s such a pretty advent. I had it last year and their designs are always just so nice. Also this tea is delicious. I want to do a side-by-side of this and Salted Caramel Oolong by DAVIDsTEA.
I had it last year too, and it was indeed so beautiful! I was going to try something new instead, but it’s even lovelier this year, so I can’t resist.
That sounds like a wonderful comparison! I haven’t been able to get my hands on the DT’s Salted Caramel Oolong. It keeps selling out on the US site. :(
TTB. I think I tried this one quite awhile ago, but I don’t have any tasting notes on it and honestly can’t remember anything about it. I don’t like it. It just tastes like butter with a hint of some nuttiness. The butteriness is just so assaulting I can’t really enjoy it.
TTB. I’ve been wanting to try this blend for some time (lychee? black genmaicha??), so was so happy to finally have a chance to try it. SO GOOD. The lychee works so well with the roastiness of the genmaicha, and the boldness of the black tea. I’ll definitely have to repurchase this one. Thank you for sharing, Roswell!
