I’m really enjoying the couple EG blends I’ve tried from Deb. I’m liking the bergamot she’s using, especially combined with the strong, herbal lavender. The honey/maple/brown sugar surprisingly don’t take the sweetness over the top, but balance the strong herbaceous qualities of the berg and lavender.

I expect I won’t like this one, not being a lavender lover, but I ordered a sample anyway because the concept sounded yummy. :P

I’ve never had hot buttered rum, so I can’t comment on the realism of the flavor. But, I like this! Luckily, I can’t taste the rooibos. I’m mostly getting the smokiness of the lapsang and lots of ginger as I first sip, but the aftertaste is this lovely caramelized sugar. A bit of a clove and cinnamon spice kicks in, but it’s not overly spicy. I usually love ginger, but feel like it detracts from the other flavors here.

Flavors: Caramel, Ginger, Smoke

Meh. It’s a fruity, cinnamon oolong. Not much of a pastry note. I’m pretty sure I’ve had this exact blend from a different brand before, but I can’t place it.

Boosting my score to a perfect 100…because it really deserves it. Breakaway sells the absolute best matcha that I’ve tried. Hands down. It’s so smooth and drinkable, and there is absolutely no bitterness. I add a bit of honey, but it really doesn’t need it. I’ve been enjoying it most mornings, and I really look forward to it. Highly recommend for matcha lovers. All of their varietals that I’ve tried have been great, but I gravitate towards this one because of the value, and I make most of my matcha iced anyway.

I was finally able to order more of this delight, so dipped into my stash. I made a huge pot and sipped on it throughout the morning while watching some Universal monster classics.

Coldbrewed what I had left of this. Really tasty! Predominantly blueberry.

I was positive that I wrote a review on this, but obviously that’s not the case. I really love this one. It’s one of the rare earl greys that I find myself enjoying these days. The blackberry is the most prominent flavor- so juicy and authentic tasting, much like other 52Teas blackberry blends. The bergamot is subtle and works with the blackberry so well. I ended up buying another small pouch because I was missing it.

Wow, this is chocolatey. Not the synthetic chocolate flavor you so often find in tea blends, but a rich, melted chocolate. I find the cherry more in the aftertaste. Added some oat milk, and it made for a pretty decadent drink.

Really tasty, distinguishable pear flavor that lacks in other pear teas. A bit of cream flavor, but no discernible amaretto.

For a tea that has ‘spice’ in the name, it’s really lacking in the spice department. It’s more like Christmas orange. The prominent smell/flavor is orange. Like cooked orange peels. There’s some rose, and a tiny bit of almond as well. But, mostly orange.
