drank Pouchong Oolong by DAVIDsTEA

Trying this one next to the Tie Kwan Yin tea to see which one of these straight teas I prefer as they both say floral to taste.

I’m preferring this one over the other one. The colour of this one is light yellow, which is lovely. I find the taste to be light and floral but not overly. It’s so light and refreshing. I could actually see this one being really good as an iced tea surprisingly even though I’m not much of one for floral teas. But this one is so good and I know I’ll enjoy the last spoonful that I have.

So, this one steeped up goes a orange-ish/brown. I like the colour, but I knew there was going to be some pow to this one compared to the other.

I found this one to be definitely roasted and very strong. I actually don’t care for this one at all. There is some floral to it, but I get a lot more roastedness and I almost get a bit of… bitterness to it. I think this one would be much better with a three minute steep instead of the four that I went with. I used the exact same water as the other tea, but this one just isn’t working for me.

Sipdown. Sad sipdown.

I miss this tea already. I made the last bit of this one as a latte. It didn’t really do it justice the way I had hoped, but what can you do? Anyways, I would love for this one to come back, but since it’s been a few years since it was out, I have my suspicions that it’s not coming back. :( So sad. oh well.

I have had this tea for a while and I really wanted to like it. It wasn’t a cheap tea.

So I got it and honestly I have not been all that impressed with it. It’s very weak watermelon flavour paired with floral, which is something I don’t care for. I have tried this one both hot and cold. Today it’s cold and I just… I don’t like it. Anyways, I think I’m going to say goodbye to this one even though I have a bit of it left. Oh well. Live and learn

drank Juicy Orange by DAVIDsTEA

Sorry for spamming with so many reviews tonight. Just playing catch up.
Either way, my husband got this one iced with agave and I really didn’t think it would be good. I don’t like pu’erhs that much so when he got it, i thought… no.
Anyways, it was actually pretty good. He like it a bit more than I did, but it wasn’t too bad. It was definitely a juicy orange but it did have the slight earthiness to it because of the pu’erh.
I got my husband a tin of it and hopefully he’ll enjoy it.

I don’t think I’ve reviewed this one yet! Okay, let me just say, I’m OBSESSED! Like, seriously. I bought a tin of it to take with me when I went up north last wee and I completely forgot it at home and I was so mad. Then, when I went to see my in-laws, I went and got some more so I didn’t have to go any longer without it. It’s just so amazing. I have to have agave in it to make it that lovely lemonade flavour that is sweet and yummy but oh man. SO good. I’m seriously over the moon for this tea.

Same, this is one of very teas I’ve ever given a 100 rating to. I love it so much, I have a tin at home and at work, haha.

Bought a collector’s tin of this one! I really hope I love it. The first cup was made too weak, so I shall try again!

Only had this one as a sample in store, but I feel like I really need to try some more of it before I can truly make a good review. It’s good, but.. strange? We’ll see how I feel the second time :)

Sound a bit of this one hidden in the cupboard. I knew at one time I had it, but didn’t realize I still had some.
Either way, I’m enjoying it as a latte. I probably shouldn’t have done it this way because A) I’m almost too full to enjoy this one; and B) I don’t like mint teas in latte form for some unknown reason. I really don’t know what that is, but I really don’t like them. They are fine and taste just fine and all that, but as a personal preference, minty lattes are just strange to me.
Anyways, will finish this one soon. Maybe I’ll try it iced? Maybe I should practice my cold latte making. That might make me enjoy it a bit more?

I’m a 30-something-year-old aspiring writer. I’ve written several short stories that I’m looking to get published someday soon.

I work as a paginator (I do page layout for our local weekly newspaper) and absolutely love it! I’m also an amateur photographer.
I’m the proud mommy of two sweet little boys! One born Feb. 3/15. He showed up 4.5 weeks early, but thankfully after a week in the hospital he’s great now. :)
The second one came just Monday evening at only 2 weeks early so he’s healthy and perfect!
Life just got so much more busy and crazy but I’m so excited.
I’m married to an absolute amazing man who “puts up” with my tea obsession.

It wasn’t until a few years after high school that I finally became interested in tea. I started with Orange Pekoe double double (milk not cream), and peppermint. Since that time, I’ve really opened up to other kinds of tea and I’ve well… I’ve kind of just went nuts since then.

I don’t drink much bagged tea anymore. It’s mostly loose leaf in my cupboard. The only except are a couple that were given to me and they sound too good!

I would have to say my favourite kinds are (in no particular order): black, herbal, white and rooibos (definitely prefer the green to red, but will drink the red too).

Green teas, pu’erh, and matcha are starting to grow on me but I’m very picky about them still. I am finding I like pu’erh tea cakes much better than loose. And with matcha I much prefer flavoured ones over straight.

I still don’t really care for mate teas but there a couple that are the exception to that.

I drink tea every single day. I absolutely love it. I can’t image my life without it.

I don’t log every time I drink a tea as I don’t want to spam everyone with tons of duplicate loggings, but I will log when I have a new tea, which happens on a regular basis and when I do a SIPDOWN! :D
