562 Tasting Notes
I didn’t find this tea to be as bad as some of the others have indicated on here, but I must agree with everyone else. I didn’t really care for it at all. I found it to be too fig tasting. I do like figs, but I found this to be far too much. I’m glad I only got a sample of it and not a whole tin.
I love this tea. It is so good. Chocolate, mint, candy… you can’t go wrong. It’s so delicious. Sweet, but so so good.
Update: I tried this tea tonight with milk and sugar, and it’s amazing. It tastes a lot more like Santa’s Secret, but it has that added loveliness of the chocolate flavour to it. I love it. It’s wonderful. I’m so glad my dad surprised me with a full tin of this tea for Valentine’s Day!!
I just bought 50g of this tea because I really wasn’t sure if I’d like it. The name and what colour it turns had me a little worried. I ended up making it in a travel mug at work for the first trying of this tea, and I must say, I’m totally in LOVE!! This tea has a beautiful fruity taste and smell. I was whisked away to a sweet heaven drinking this tea. I couldn’t believe how delicious it was for such a weird sounding tea. I MUST buy more of this tea before it goes back into retirement. It is just so good! I’ll be very sad when my cupboard runs out of this stuff.
I love this tea. I think I actually prefer this tea to peppermint, which is surprising for me ‘cause I LOVE peppermint.
I find this tea to be smoother in taste, where as peppermint is a bit more of a punch of flavour. I think I’ll always keep this in the house. It’s great too if you just want something to relax with and to calm ya down after a long day at work. I could see it working really well if ya have a sore throat too, or not feeling well.
My friend bought me this as a birthday gift and it’s amazing! Everyone was saying that it had a chocolate taste, but I didn’t really find that to be the case. However, it is so good!! I love this tea. I’m not even sure how to describe this tea, other than good.
Upon another tasting, I think I finally figured out what it tastes like. It’s more of a caramel flavour that I’m tasting. It’s delicious! I usually add a splash of milk and sugar to it, being as it’s a black tea. This one will probably be a permanent one in my tea cupboard.
Update: I made myself a pot of this tea today. It is SO good! I know I already said that, but it is amazing. :)
A dear friend of mine bought me this when she first found out about DavidsTea and wanted to get me a thank you gift.
I was really unsure how bamboo would taste in a tea, but it smelt SO good and it looked light and fresh, so I couldn’t wait to try it. This tea is so good! The first time I steeped it, I didn’t use enough tea leaves, so it was really weak. The second time was much better ‘cause I added more. I also like to add some freeze-dried strawberries that I bought from somewhere else and add it to the tea. It kicks up the strawberry flavour and makes it so delicious!
I have a bunch of this tea, so I know I’ll get to enjoy the strawberry loveliness all year around.
This is probably my favourite tea by DavidsTea. I LOVE this tea so much! I bought myself I think like 300g and I’m wondering if I didn’t get enough to last me the rest of the year. I always drink it with milk and sugar. I can’ wait to try it as a latte at some point. :)
