562 Tasting Notes
I had this one this morning and I quite enjoy it. I find I love a very simple black tea first thing in the morning. Usually a straight black tea or something with a hint of fruit or even mint. This one definitely works that way.
So the cherry flavour is actually quite strong in this one but it’s not so much that I’m turned off of it. It’s a nice simple black tea with enough flavour that it doesn’t get lost even with some milk or sugar.
I really love this one and I know what is left of it won’t last much longer! Yum Yum!
I’m so sporadic with my reviews of teas… oh well. I’ll try and do better! haha
I got this one years ago when I made an order and it was one that was put in by mistake. I didn’t order it and it wasn’t on the packing slip… so I just went, oh well, and started to drink it.
I didn’t care for it initially… It needed something more… Well, I finally figured out what it needed. It needs some milk and some vanilla agave to make it superb. Now, I’m down to my last 3 cups of this one. I have enjoyed it, but I’m would hesitate to order it as I think there are other teas I would enjoy more.
I had this at the tea festival last year and loved it. So much! But when I got it home. I could never copy how they had done it at the festival (they did it as a latte, but somehow I couldn’t do it at home).
Anyways, the other thing I had with this one was that every time I made this one I would end up with an upset stomach. I don’t have a clue as to why. The only thing I can think of is the honey as I never eat honey. Like ever. I don’t like the taste of it. SO now I’m wondering if maybe I have an allergy or maybe just an intolerance to honey… Who knows…?
Merry (belated) Christmas and a happy New Year! I’m still lurking around here somewhere. I really want to review my teas more again so I can figure out which ones to keep in the cupboard and which to not.
Anyways, I’m finishing up a small sample sized bag that I got almost a year ago from the TO tea festival. Up until this cup, I’ve quite enjoyed this tea. Didn’t have any issues with it and really loved it. Nice and malty which is what I enjoy.
Today, I’m not really enjoying it. It’s probably because I forgot to time my steep.
I had the loose-leaf version of this one. So, yes it’s good. Today’s cup wasn’t…
On the whole, I don’t think I would get this one again. I have others I enjoy a bit more.
I’m not on Steepster much these days, but every so often I come back and write a review. I want to get back here more often as I do love this website.
Anyways, I went to the shop that sells these beteas only a couple of weeks ago. I LOVED it!! It was such a great little place.
I picked this one up because they said it would have chocolate notes to it. And I think I get a little of it… but either way, I really like it. There’s something very nice about it. It reminds me of the Nepal Black tea from Davidstea. It’s got that same smoothness to it. So yummy!
