drank Orange Pekoe by Red Rose

I love this tea. I always drink it with milk and sugar. It’s the tea that I always fall back to when I’m just wanting something quick and simple, but delicious. It’s the tea that I always go to when I need a quick wake-up in the morning, or if I don’t feel very great in the morning.

Update: So, I tried to make myself a pot of this tea on the weekend, and I just couldn’t drink it… I felt so bad ‘cause normally I love this tea, but this time… It wasn’t good. I think my taste buds must be changing. Like I said, normally I love this tea, but I just couldn’t do it.
I think now I just prefer the fresher taste that loose-leaf teas have to offer. Sorry Red Rose Orange Pekoe! :(

This is such a lovely tea! It is warm and apple/cinnamon-y and it’s just lovely. My cousin and I loved it.
The flavours work so well together and the almond pieces add just enough of a special touch that it’s perfect. I’d love to see this one stick around longer than just for the winter season. I could see me drinking this one in the fall too, watching the leaves change colours.

This tea when I opened the bag smelled like Cinnabon. I couldn’t get over how sweet it smelled, but in a warm cinnamon way. I wanted to warm it up and eat it right away.
I steeped it and it turned bright pink, which I really didn’t expect at all! But it added some nice charm to it.
This tea mixes well with a bunch of different teas. I’ve only added it to Pumpkin Chai, but I have friends that have added it to a bunch of different ones and they have loved it.
This tea goes really on its own too. I’ll drink it when I want something sweet and want something different.
DavidsTea, why do you have to make so many awesome teas!?!

So, I’ve only tried this tea once, but I plan to try it again soon.
The one time that I did try it, I must have used water that was too hot because I curdled the yogurt pieces. I was surprised by that but I guess it happens. I think next time I’m going to try it without any yogurt pieces to see what happens.
As for smell, it smells wonderful, both steeped and non-steeped. :) I’ll update this once I’ve tried it again.

Faith

I’m not sure they curdle so much as partially dissolve (since they are in chip form). I usually just take them out anyways, since they “reconstitute” whenever I try to ice the tea.

I got this one knowing that I love Orange Pekoe, but never having tried a loose-leaf version of the beloved staple tea.

This tea tastes basically the same as Red Rose, which is normally what I drink for Orange Pekoe, but I found with this one that the flavour was gentler. It wasn’t as much of a punch as others have been. Maybe if I had used more leaves, I would have gotten more of a punch of flavour, but I didn’t seem to get much with this one. It was nice and subtle. I definitely like the option of having an orange pekoe that’s a bit gentler.
I think I would get this again, but I think I’ll use up my other orange pekoes first before restocking.

drank Caramellissimo by Teaopia

This black tea smells so good. I got it as a free gift with purchase of the tea master.

I love caramel, so I knew that I would love this tea. I added milk and sugar because it was a black tea, and that’s the only kind of tea that I would add milk to. It was amazing. It was like drinking liquid caramel. It was so delicious. I couldn’t believe how awesome it was. I know this will be a permanent in my collection. I was so happy to get to try it out. Anytime I have a sweet craving, I’m grabbing this tea.

drank Movie Night by DAVIDsTEA

Movie night. When I heard about a popcorn tea, I thought it was going to be strange and gross, like liquid popcorn. I didn’t know how this was going to work out, but I knew that I wanted to at least try it and see if I could like it even just a little.
I ordered this online before even getting a chance to smell it. And I must say, I made the right decision. This tea isn’t just a popcorn tea. It’s more like a caramel popcorn tea. The apples and maple make it taste so good. It’s sweet without being too much.
Anytime I need a popcorn fix, I’m going to drink this tea. It’s just as satisfying. :)

LOVE LOVE LOVE!! This is one of my favourite teas ever! It’s like drinking a watermelon, and watermelon is my favourite fruit. I didn’t notice the carrot flavour at all in the tea, but I think that could be a good thing. I think that maybe it’s just meant to add to the sweetness of this tea. I bought extra this summer to get me through the long winter months. :)
I can’t say enough about how much I love this tea.

I tried this tea, thinking I would love it because I love Movie Night, which is also a popcorn tea, but this one I didn’t end up caring for at all. I found it to be bitter and just not good… I ended up exchanging it. I think I just prefer sweeter teas.

I’m a 30-something-year-old aspiring writer. I’ve written several short stories that I’m looking to get published someday soon.

I work as a paginator (I do page layout for our local weekly newspaper) and absolutely love it! I’m also an amateur photographer.
I’m the proud mommy of two sweet little boys! One born Feb. 3/15. He showed up 4.5 weeks early, but thankfully after a week in the hospital he’s great now. :)
The second one came just Monday evening at only 2 weeks early so he’s healthy and perfect!
Life just got so much more busy and crazy but I’m so excited.
I’m married to an absolute amazing man who “puts up” with my tea obsession.

It wasn’t until a few years after high school that I finally became interested in tea. I started with Orange Pekoe double double (milk not cream), and peppermint. Since that time, I’ve really opened up to other kinds of tea and I’ve well… I’ve kind of just went nuts since then.

I don’t drink much bagged tea anymore. It’s mostly loose leaf in my cupboard. The only except are a couple that were given to me and they sound too good!

I would have to say my favourite kinds are (in no particular order): black, herbal, white and rooibos (definitely prefer the green to red, but will drink the red too).

Green teas, pu’erh, and matcha are starting to grow on me but I’m very picky about them still. I am finding I like pu’erh tea cakes much better than loose. And with matcha I much prefer flavoured ones over straight.

I still don’t really care for mate teas but there a couple that are the exception to that.

I drink tea every single day. I absolutely love it. I can’t image my life without it.

I don’t log every time I drink a tea as I don’t want to spam everyone with tons of duplicate loggings, but I will log when I have a new tea, which happens on a regular basis and when I do a SIPDOWN! :D
