562 Tasting Notes
Had this one tonight, but I didn’t realize it had apricot in it. haha silly me for not reading the ingredients. Anyways, I did enjoy this one but because I didn’t realize the apricot was in there, I found this tea to be so weird. Now that I know that, looking back I can say it was very good! I’ll try again as I have more and see what I think from there.
I am really enjoying this tea. I’m amazed at how much I’m liking this tea. It tastes like a whole bunch of herbs all stuck together and it’s almost… grassy. It’s just so good. I’m just so surprised at how much I like this tea. And I love how the directions say you can add this to cooking and soups and whatnot ’cause I think I would do that! It would be great to add to a soup.
Anyways, lovely tea and will enjoy this a lot. It’d probably be good as an after dinner tea or even before dinner tea. Get the palette ready for dinner.
I love the look of this one. It has lovely dark, flat green tea leaves. It looks lovely.
But upon smelling it… yuck… It smells like lemon cleaner to me. Like Pinesol! Gross.
So onto tasting… I feel like they really tried here, but they really missed the mark. I get some floral from the rosebuds, which is such a weird addition to a citrus tea. And I’m getting the lime but it’s in such an artificial way. It, again, tastes like what I would think Pinesol would taste like.
I’ve had a few lime teas before and they have always managed to make it sweet and juicy lime but this isn’t that way at all. It’s almost dry and fake. I’m so sad. I’m going to throw the rest of this one out. I’m pretty sure I got this one for free so I’m not too concerned that I’m letting it go.
I have an unknown Amaretto tea also. My guess would be that it’s from Metropolitan tea company but I’m not sure exactly. I added some milk and sugar ‘cause on its own it wasn’t quite as nice as I thought it should be. Then it turned into a nice sweet treat. I know this would hold up well as a latte. I might try this one that way soon.
I’m attempting to drink all my teas once through. I have teas that I got and have yet to try. How sad eh? Well that’s about to change. Lots of new tea tastes coming my way!
The husband and I made a pitcher of this one iced about a week and a half ago and I never thought to log it.
I loved it. Thought it was really quite good. But I’m not so sure the husband loved it that much.. which is funny ‘cause he’s pretty good usually for fruity teas. Meh, either way, I’ll enjoy this one.
I have had this one SEVERAL times and apparently never logged it here. It’s sad for me to say that I really don’t like this one at all. It’s too strong of cinnamon for me, which is really funny considering I love saigon chai so much which is even stronger of a tea.
Anyways, I don’t care for this one at all. I almost feel like I need to cut it with a plain rooibos or something… maybe if I combined it with the vanilla rooibos chai?
I forgot to review this one from… last week? The week before that…? Either way, I had it and I’m not sure I like it. It is definitely pineapple and it’s definitely sweet and fruity. But at the same time, I don’t like the grilled part of this tea. It has that almost smokey or grilled taste that you would get from a bar-b-q which is great that they nailed it, but at the same time, I don’t like that addition to my teas sadly. Maybe it would be better iced…
Finished this one last week as a latte. Still delicious, but I think I may have either over leafed or over steeped as I found the flavour wasn’t as nice as last time I had it. Either way, enjoyed it and would get again, but I’m planning to wait until my collection has depleted a bit more. I have quite a long way to go.
