I finally had the rest of this sample from the generous Cavocorax – you know, i liked it even more the second time around.

If it wasn’t so hard (read: pricy) for a Canadian to buy from Adagio, I’d consider adding a small amount to a future order! It’s definitely interesting and a unique blend of flavours.

Received this as a sample from The Tea Spot…. it seemed like it was tasty but unfortunately the sample was so scant that I couldn’t even make a normal sized cup out of it, I felt like it could have been stronger. To my tastes, anyway.

It seemed raisiny and malty and a good strong breakfast tea, from what I could gather. I would love to find a good breakfast tea to stock.

I can’t really rate this because I felt like I didn’t have enough tea for a satisfying cup!

Would like to try again sometime with more!

Saved this from a TTB in the summer, for my pu-erh tasting adventures.

Honestly I can’t really recall any difference between this and any other. I’m quite sure though that I prefer the Mandala ones I’ve tried. Even though they still just taste like pu-erh to me, no delicious chocolate notes or anything of the sort.

This was strong, I brewed it western style for a minute or so for a few infusions, and always with milk. I’m not a SUPER puerh fan yet. But i’m trying!

Oddly enough I got no strawberries out of this, only apples.

I don’t like apple flavouring very much, so I didn’t love this. Perhaps my tastebuds are messed up.

I also cannot recall where I got this! Courtney perhaps??

I didn’t find the flavours super strong, they didn’t punch me in the face or anything, but I realize that is probably typical of “scented” french teas.

I have this mission to try as many French teas as possible. Though I can’t afford to buy online and I don’t seem to be able to find them at my local Winners or Homesense stores like some other lucky people.

Perhaps someday France will be on my travel menu!

I found this relaxing and enjoyable to drink. Not my favourite one so far, but nice. It kind of ended up like a random blend of unnameable fruits to me. Ah well :) Glad to have tried it!!

I liked Velours Nacre better though!

Got a sample of this from The Tea Spot. I drank it this summer, lol. So yeah, this is a very late review.

I had it for breakfast everyday when I was visiting my cousins’ cottage for a week in August, on the beach with my baby. My actual baby. Not like, a romantic thing.

It was delicious in the mornings with milk. A good strong cup and I usually had two steeps out of it. I honestly can’t quite remember if it was super flavourful, but I did enjoy it.

Assams are usually tasty to me!
So, there you have it! Just reviewed it so I’ll remember having tried it :)

Bought a sample of this because it intrigued me.

Sometimes I like teas with roses in them, i ALWAYS love LB, and I usually enjoy Earl Greys. So I figured this might be good.

Once I smelled it dry I wasn’t quite sure, though it was really pretty to look at.

It ended up being pretty tasty though! The flavours seem to work really well together. I will have some more steeps of my sample tomorrow for sure, this is not one to use once and throw away!

I would consider buying some, but it’s not a MUST HAVE for me or anything.

None of the flavours seem to overpower the others, though the main thing I taste is LB, which is probably why i enjoyed it so much.

The next thing I notice is the bergamot, but it’s not overwhelming. The roses are pretty faint, which is probably a good thing because a super floral tea can be too intense for me.

Overall, enjoyed this one!

I had a to go cup of this when I was at the mall with my mom a week or two ago, and I was pretty impressed. You know how they always leave the bag in? Well it didn’t seem to get disgustingly strong so I didn’t bother taking it out. Only towards the end I was getting a bit too much apple for my taste – but I dislike strongly flavoured apple things.

So all in all I enjoyed it so when i was back yesterday I decided to get 25gr.

It smells amazingly creamy, and tastes the same! It is very light, but will do well as an herbal option in my cupboard. I was surprised to see coriander as an ingredient, I can’t smell it or taste it whatsoever (good!).

Time will tell if I buy anymore, but I am surely going to enjoy the small amount I bought!

I bought 25g of this based on the smell. I figured it couldn’t hurt to have another herbal, but when I got home I saw that it was oolong. Not that I mind.

I have never had baklava so I’m not sure what this is meant to taste like. I was hoping for more rose and honey notes to spring out, but to me, it honestly tastes a lot like sleigh ride, or a way less delicious version of forever nuts.

It’s just like a cinnamon spicy fruity nut tea that I’ve had before in some other incarnation.

Nothing bad, but I wouldn’t buy more :)

I wish they would have done some kind of gingerbread cookie tea instead!

Thanks to MissB I finally got to try this one! I really enjoyed it!
It kind of tastes like a cookie. Sweet, almondy. I would love to have more to really overleaf so that I could make the flavours pop.
