this is the perfect throw in your travel tea tumbler for the day tea. quite delicate and flavorful all day long, even upon multiple steepings! has gotten me through a few troublesome mornings this week.

It’s kinda yucky out and I’m kinda grumpy this morning – a cup of this just hit the spot!!!

ahhh, i needed this. excellent choice for a cold day with too much computer work. perfect sippin’ tea, creamy and delightful to the last drop.

Cold and thundersleeting out there! It is absolutely crazy weather – school opening late due to ice IN MARCH! This calls for Christmas Tea, PINK Christmas Tea, even!

well, i haven’t really liked most of the Da Hong Paos i’ve ever tried, but i like this one a bit better. mind you i’m only on the first steep, and it tastes smoky and dusty and dry, just like the others i’ve tried, but this one at least has some depth to it, am looking forwarded to future steepings….

This tea is a perfect cozy winding down end of day cuppa. Too bad it comes only in 5 lb packages…i guess i do have many days requiring down-winding, so it’ll do. Can’t wait to try this iced once the 100 degree summer weather kicks in!

Still a favorite all afternoon oolong…it is almost time to go out and get more…

got this sample along with my last TaS order – i might have purchased it, or they might have just sent it along, i can’t remember. either way, yay tea!
well, this is a nice good solid black tea. it is, indeed, smooth. HOWEVER i am not the biggest black tea fan in the world. if i am drinking black tea, it is probably early in the morning AND doused in sugar and milk. i don’t prefer black black tea.
this tea is FANTASTIC doused in sugar and milk! but i’m not sure it will serve my purposes for morning black tea any better than the much cheaper PG Tips that i’m used to.
TaS is still a favorite tea company, and i will be ordering from there many times again, i know, but it will not be the Ceylon Pekoe, alas.
