Steepster, lovely steepster sent this to me, i’m quite enjoying it Kung Fu style, here in my living room while working away at worky work. ugh. work. i don’t have time to write more other than this stuff is tasty – and i keep accidentally brewing it too long by about 1-3 minutes per steep, since i keep getting interrupted, and that doesn’t seem to affect the tea negatively AT ALL. none of that nasty weird overbrewed oolong flavor, y’know?

k, back to work.

finishing up my last clump of this – some good stuff. once again, washed 2x, as first wash barely seemed to take any of the tea with it. 2nd steeping now, same procedure as before (glass gaiwan, just before boiling, 15 secs, plus 10 each new steep) and still enjoying. debating whether to get more or just try another one.

These bricks always benefit with about 2 years aging to allow them to settle a bit. They do steep for it seems like forever these little nuggets.

oh i do so like this! it’s definitely NOT one of the rich deep-sea brothy senchas, but a nice delicate light (chartreuse!) green that is accented wonderfully by the genmai. TASTY! and a perfect after-meal cuppa, as it won’t weigh you down, not at all.

haven’t tried a second steeping yet, but am thinking of steeping for longer next go-round, just to see what happens.
