drank Ginger Lemon Tea by Yogi Tea

Very pale, but that’s not surprising, given the contents.
The aroma is very gingery, with only very subtle lemon notes.
The taste is spicy, really gingery, with slight liquorice sweetness. lemon is hiding in the background, barely noticeable.

Not bad, very refreshing and warming, but misleading, bcause the lemon component is too weak.

Flavors: Ginger, Lemon, Licorice

Strong herbal aroma, with mixed notes from green and white tea, as well as subtle wet forest bed notes.

Dark red colour.
Aroma dominated by hibiscus with only a bit of orange, quite bland and one dimensional.
Slightly sour in taste, with distinct hibiscus notes and nice ginger spicyness.
Generally not bad for a fruit tea, but it definitely should be called “Hibiscus & Ginger”…

Flavors: Ginger, Hibiscus, Orange Zest, Sour

Preparation
205 °F / 96 °C 5 min, 0 sec 2 g 7 OZ / 200 ML

Aroma is very rich and powerful. Distinct pu-erh notes perfectly blend with cocoa beans, nutmeg and subtle zesty notes.
The taste is even more complex. Cinnamon and nutmeg intertwine each other, then come the basic pu-erh taste with rich cocoa.
Drinking it is like eating gingerbred cookies with chocolate chips. Perfect. :)

Flavors: Chocolate, Cinnamon, Citrus Zest, Cocoa, Earth, Nutmeg

Strong pu-erh smell combined with subtle citrusy (not necessarily grapefruity notes).
Refreshing citrusy notes in taste, along with earthy pu-erh notes, though the base tea is quite low quaiity.

Aroma dominated by strawberries and blackberries, quite mild. Black tea notes very subtle.
A lot of blackberries in taste, subtle strawberries. The fruit notes are nice, but the base black tea is very bland, so all in all I can’t recommend it.

drank Vanilla Caramel by Lipton

Aroma is very perfumey, definitely more toffee than caramel, sweet. There is strong vanilla, and caramel, of course.
Fortunately taste is only slightly sweet, a bit earthy, with nice vanilla notes, toffee and caramel.
Nut really my, nomen omen, cup of tea, but it’s really suitable for desserts.

Flavors: Caramel, Earth, Perfume, Sweet, Toffee, Vanilla

Bio

I drink tea almost all the time.

However, my tea drinking can be divided into two main categories.

1. I work a lot at my computer and when I work, I need to always have tea at hand. That’s when I drink bag varieties, mostly black blends, often corporate ones. They need to be at least drinkable, of course, but I don’t focus on the taste much, though I don’t go below a certain level…

2. When I read (and read a lot) or when I’m just relaxing, I savor tea. That’s when the better varieties come into play, that’s when I use leafs instead of bags, that’s when I really focus on what I’m drinking.

I’m Polish, temporarily living in Copenhagen, Denmark.
