Great when I’m nauseous.

Personally, I think this tea tastes horrible. I’m drinking it for the health benefits (we’re trying to conceive). I did follow another reviewer’s tip of steeping it for closer to 15 minutes and it did improve the taste.

I agree. What is it even supposed to taste like? To me, it may as well be old tree leaves.

Always makes me feel better when I feel a cold coming on. I always add honey and I don’t mind the flavor at all.

I’m drinking this because I’m still fighting off this stupid cold, didn’t do much today aside from eating and lying around, well that’s ok. We all need a break sometimes….

This seems like a mix of immune enhancing herbs combined with herbs that make you sleepy I taste a lot of chamomile in this blend and it’s very minty. There is something bitter in here I don’t quite like, I think perhaps it’s the linden flower?

Anyway I wasn’t expecting a whole lot from this and obviously am not going to drink it solely for the flavor but am pleased to report it goes down fairly easily.

Feel better soon! I’ve been drinking a lot of Throat Coat and Clari Tea myself these days for the same reasons.

The effectiveness of this tea against colds, I can’t confirm, but it certainly tastes better than any cold medicine I’ve ever had! In the bag, I smell peppermint, some cinnamon. I was wary of the long steeping time (medicinal teas and their tendency to turn bitter) but oh, it is so worth it in this case. Steep it a long time, you’ll get a beautiful dark amber tea with a reminiscent of peppermint sarsaparilla, sweet but not cloying. A wonderful way to shake off a cold evening by the fire.

This is in a holiday themed box and called “Holly Jolly Ginger Aid”, but it’s the same thing, as far as I can tell.

A great peppermint flavour. I love mint teas, and this one is another great tasting tea. Just a drop of honey, and this is a perfect cold winters night tea.

Lovely liquorice flavour, and soothes the throat. Overall a very nice tea, and really picked me up from this mild scratchy throat.

I’m about to brew my third cup of this today. Sore throat city! Should have taken better care of myself yesterday and not breathed in so much smoke while smoking the Thanksgiving turkey. I don’t mind the flavor, being a lover of licorice and anise, I just wish I could enjoy my other teas right now. The first cup definitely made my throat feel better, so at least it is doing the job!

The first time I purchased Throat Coat was when I had a terrible cold that was already well underway, meaning my taste buds were completely out of commission (I can’t taste a single thing when my sinuses are blocked). I steeped it exactly according to the directions on the box and had it several times a day. Thankfully, it really did help my throat feel better (the only thing that did!) and I really enjoyed it. It does seem to coat the throat and feels thicker than other teas. To my surprise, when my husband tasted it (before I took a sip of course, didn’t want to spread germs), he thought it was disgusting. He’s not much of a tea drinker though, so I just shrugged my shoulders and continued to drink it frequently. As soon as my nose unclogged enough for me to be able to taste AT ALL though, the extremely unpleasant flavor of this tea became immediately apparent and I couldn’t choke it down anymore. Thankfully by then my throat wasn’t hurting as badly. I still buy this tea if I have a really bad sore throat, but only if my nose is all plugged up as well! This is honestly one of the worst tasting teas I’ve ever tried, so I give it a 5 for flavor, but an 80 for how much it helps my sore throat.

I bought this because peppermint tea is supposed to wake you up in the morning. It tastes really good. I like it.

I wanted it to be a lot stronger and more like licorice root, but it’s still okay.

This is one of my favorites. You have to let it steep for a long time to get the full licorice flavor.
