Yup! Everyone else pretty much said it…it’s typical Earl Grey…I’m grateful for Earl Grey Tea, indeed, and also grateful for finding some Might Leaf in a store somewhat nearby FINALLY.

Jillian

I’ve seen Mighty Leaf in all the store around here – problem is, it’s hideously expensive. DX

It IS Pricey! :P

Only Publix and Whole foods carry it here in SC. I’ve compared and surprisingly, Whole Foods is cheaper than Publix! Just got a box today for 7.99 at Whole Foods and Publix is close to 10!

Just when I thought the Jasmine was a little bitter there seemed to be a little bit of sweetness to make a liar out of me. Not bad but not my favorite either.

This I’s roobios with chocolate cacao nibs, and mint. This smells like roobios with mint and abit of chocolate. I steeped this 5 minutes. The roobios was there but not overwelming, the mint was light a medium taste, and there was a hint of chocolate. Pretty good for a roobios.

Another triumph from Mighty Leaf! This chamomile tisane comes on quickly with the flavors of chamomile and citron, and is quietly overcome by a delightful rising honey flavor. As other tasters have mentioned, the often off-putting bitter taste of chamomile is delightfully absent. I have never tasted a Mighty Leaf blend that I didn’t like, and Chamomile Citrus is no exception.

I cannot say that I hate chamomile tea, but my past experiences have been limited. I’ve had chamomiles that tasted like hot water with a faint spritz of hay seed. Back when I was in college there was the dreaded proffering of Celestial Seasonings Chamomile by those who took their earthy, hippy status seriously. Fortunately, tea has come a long way since then.

Mighty Leaf has me jonesing for more.

I just got a variety pack of Might Leaf tea-bags and decided to accompany “The Amazing Race” with a nice soothing tea. I decided, quite staunchly, that I was going to get the chamomile out of the way—the way I occasionally make myself do an unpleasant chore first thing in the day and spend the next 6 months using this one burst of virtue to justify my inherent sloth.

First I had to admire the tea bag. I imagined an artisan lovingly crocheting the string with a tiny crochet hook. As the tea brewed, citrus emerged. The typical old hayseed odor never appeared.

I was starting to get alert and to pay attention to this tea. I had regarded it as a chore to be endured and I now felt that I had arrived at the “sens de la visite” as French signs point out tourist attractions.

Mighty Leaf has concocted an impressive mélange of flavors to support whatever the essence of chamomile is. I still remain uncertain what was the chamomile–maybe the supporting cast is the star here. The citrus is strong, vibrant, but not a bit brash.

I made an immediate note to promote this Chamomile Citrus to full-time status at my house and to adopt it as a favorite evening child. I know that I really like this tea because I’m already slightly nervous that I only have one tea-bag left and the stores do not open for another 7 hours. I’m a convert!

The presence of the vanilla is wonderful. I am of the impression that vanilla is a relatively rare flavor in teas, and as a result I cannot be too sure if Mighty Leaf does the best job capturing it. Nevertheless, I have added this to the palate of teas that I drink on a regular basis.

Whelp. This is the last of my stash of this tea, too. Bummer. Anyhow…today I can really smell the vanilla in this blend today…it gives it a creamiscle-type scent. What a delight! I’m going to try multiple infusions with this today.

gmathis

Friend of mine sent me some orange rooibos that was house-bagged by a little shop in Franklin TN and it tasted EXACTLY like creamsicles.

Yes, I think I like this tea a bit more than I thought I would because I was thinking ORANGE but with the other flavors it blends well and isn’t as citrus-based as I thought it would be. Thumbs up!

Enjoyed it and enjoyed it again – 2 steeps!

rabbysmom

Are you drinking loose or bagged? I’m curious if I could get 2 steeps out of one bag. Thanks!

This is the first time I have tried this tea thanks to MandyB. This tea is a wonderful rarity because the name ORANGE Dulce makes me think pure Orange Black Tea but it’s very different because it’s floral and sweet, too…it’s not overly orange nor is it a BOLD Black Tea Flavor. It seems to be a nice happy medium of everything! Very Nice!

After the dryness and aftertaste of my last tea this one tastes extremely sweet and gently fruity. I have not noticed this before…but then again…I think teas take on a different taste just like wines – when you sample multiple…

Angrboda

I quite agree on the wine thing. I’ve noticed that since starting using Steepster this way and having it turn into a bit of a game to see which notes I can pick up, I do it when I have wine too. Try to see if I can find the notes they say on the label. Usually I can’t really. I don’t think I’m really experienced enough yet. Or I lack imagination.
