The tea is a little thin and old tasting (maybe it is old – you never know in a tea box!) The raspberry is barely there, which is too bad since the scent is there in the dry leaf. Disappointing.

I definitely see the wine flavor in this. It’s sort of a sour grape on top of a fruity black base. It’s not really my sort of tea, but it’s certainly an interesting flavor combination. I’d recommend overleafing since it was a little thin and weak.

I love the vanilla flavor in this tea. Below that is the tastiest green rooibos and some lemongrass, maybe something fruity. This is just so refreshing and good. Huge fan.

There was a huuuuge tin of this in the tea box, and the smoky scent was much too strong. I put it back thinking that I definitely wouldn’t like it, but hey, what’s a tea box for if not expanding your horizons? I just put the tea in my cup and strained it instead of using a steeper because I didn’t want my steeper to be permanently scented. It’s that strong. I added lots of sugar and milk to try to tame the smokiness. It’s super smoky and meaty. I don’t dislike it as much as I expected, but I spent several days trying to finish my large mug and never could. There’s not much bergamot here, unfortunately. I really can’t picture someone enjoying this, but I guess there are plenty of people who do!

I’d much prefer this on a black base. The green base is a little bitter, and the nuttiness is quite mild. I did like it more after it had sat a bit. Then some more dessertiness came out. Still not super great though.

The almond is more mild than I expected, but the black tea is rich enough that I decided to not mute it by adding milk. The almond has that sweet amaretto quality to it. I’m sure it was stronger when it was fresh, but even now, this one seems pretty high quality.

I don’t love when they put a bunch of other things in there with mint when a tea could have just been mostly mint-focused. It just ends up kind of being a muddled mess. So here it’s sort of a murky mint along with some strangeness that I guess is from the clove? Not too delicious a combination of ingredients.

With milk and sugar, this is pretty decent. The maple flavor is totally there. It’s sweet and desserty. It’s decadent enough that I don’t think I could have it too often. I love this sort of thing, but actually this is somehow too much for me.

I don’t generally like lemonade teas, but I always try every herbal in a tea box, so here we are! I feel like I can taste the pink lemonade flavor pretty clearly. It’s still not delicious to my tastes, but it’s decently accurate. I overleafed, but it’s still a bit weak. However, I imagine this tea is pretty old by now, so that could be to blame.

I love when a fruit tea brings something new to the table, and this one definitely has! The citrus flavor is so crisp and fresh. And it’s not like orange either. I’m not sure what it is…tangerine? I just love that they’re doing something different with this one. It’s pleasantly tart, complex, and delicious. Really the perfect cold beverage.
