It was sweet enough, but there is too much lavender for me. I think I have discovered that lavender is not a flavour I really enjoy in tea.
It is ok, but I probably won’t re-buy this.

Aroma: very intriguing and yummy
This is way too sweet for me. The nougat pieces have too much of a fake taste that leaves a really weird aftertaste.
2nd steep: still just as fake sweet with the weird aftertaste.

I am not really a fan of senchas but this one smells really good.
I found it a little too woodsy and vegetative.
I didn’t get much strawberry flavour.
2nd steep: same flavour, just weaker
Definitely not my fav

This is a pretty good rooibos. I have no idea what buckthorn is supposed to taste like though.
The taste was slightly bitter but also slightly sweet, with a nice creamy feel.
I like it because it is so different from all my other teas and it is nice after a heavy meal day.

Sea buckthorn is supposed to be rather tart if I recall right.

I hadn’t had this in a long time. I forgot how good it is. I have started doing a short 30 second steep and dumping out that water because I like the 2nd and 3rd steeps way better. This takes away the spinachy-vegetable taste that I didn’t like before.
2nd steep: almost boiling, 7 min
Now, it is smooth and creamy, a nice treat….but also expensive
Increasing the rating a little!

I had this cold brewed yesterday. I am decreasing the rating a little bit because it was a little artificial tasting.
It was still yummy and sweet.

This is a pretty smooth, yummy tea. I am not sure if I am getting much cheesecake taste, but there is a pumpkin taste for sure.
The black base is still there too, which is good.
I am glad I got to try it. Thanks Jillian!

The lemongrass/mint pairing really worked here, one not overpowering the other. The hibiscus was fairly tame too, which is good because it can become very bitter sometimes. Overall, this was a pretty goodd bedtime tea.

This is a good rooibos that doesn’t need sweetener or milk.
The taste is smooth, apple, kinda buttery, with a tad of nutty taste. Kind of strange but good.

drank Glitter & Gold by DAVIDsTEA

It took me a long time to try this because I was worried about a really overpowering cinnamon taste.
I was pleasantly suprised because this tea it light, sweet, and smooth, and it doesn’t burn like some other cinnamon teas tend to. Not something that I would drink everyday but something a little different from my norm, and the sparkles are a treat!

Bio

Hello,
I am a nurse. I have numerous hobbies: reading, crocheting, crafting, card making, scrapbooking, photography, shopping, and of course drinking TEA!

I started drinking loose leaf tea in Dec. 2010 when I went into a DavidsTea for the first time and have been hooked ever since! My favourite is probably white tea, but I also love black and oolong. I also like a nice relaxing rooibos or herbal in the evening. On Sundays, I like to treat myself and make a tea latte.

My favourite flavours are nutty, vanilla, chocolate, jasmine, tropical, fruity, earl grey.
My dislikes are lavender, rose, hibiscus, banana, and straight green or overly vegetal teas.

I am admittedly fairly generous in my rating scale. Most of my teas I rate at 90 and above, and would re-stock these teas.
Anything under 90 I probably wouldn’t re-stock unless I found a great price.
