This was good, creamy and minty. I like anything minty so it was good for me. I like that you can resteep this tea multiple times and the taste holds up farely well.

drank Earl Grey Special by TeaFrog

This is a pretty decent earl grey but not quite what I was expecting. I was expecting a lot more jasmine and a lot less lemon. It was ok, but I don’t think I will stock up on this one.
The smell is amazing though.

drank Love by TeaFrog

This is a nice floral, woodsy rooibos, and slightly citrus balance. I am suprised that these flavours blend this nicely together.
I am glad that I got to try this sample, and might think of ordering a full bag sometime down the road when my tea stash is a more reasonable amount (I have bought WAY too much tea lately)

1st steep: almost boiling, 2 minutes. Very delicate, with good blueberry taste. I have never steeped my whites at this low of a temperature, but it seemed to work well. This is a very yummy light white tea.
2nd steep: almost boiling, 2.5 minutes. A little weak, would need to make this steep at least 3 minutes I think to get a better flavour.
Next time: cold brewed

drank Jasmine Pearls by TeaFrog

This tea was a little weak with only 6 jasmine pearls, but it held up fairly well for 2 steeps. It has a nice light jasmine taste and scent.
Next time I will use more pearls.

drank Chocolate and Cream by TeaFrog

I was intrigued by the cream in this tea….I just had to try it. I am glad that I did! This is a nice smooth tea without a bitter, too strong black base. Just what I needed today.
I tried this straight but I bet it would make a really good latte.

drank Caramel Cream by TeaFrog

This one was a lot more woodsy than caramel for me. As I read these other reviews though, it looks like I have to give it a longer steep. I will have to try that next time.

drank Mango and Yogurt by TeaFrog

As others have mentioned, I didn’t really get any mango taste but that doesn’t mean that it wasn’t good. It was still creamy and fruity.
It maybe had too much hibiscus flavour for me though, however the strong pink colour is pretty.

drank Cherry Blossom by DAVIDsTEA

This is a nice balance of the sweet/tartness of cherries and the floral taste from the roses. It is delicate and calming.
I am really glad it came “back from the dead” so that I could try it.
2nd steep: just as good as the first one!

drank Mulberry Magic by DAVIDsTEA

I do like this one more each time I try it. It is such a smooth and soothing flavour.
Even though I usually drink tea straight, a tiny splash of milk really brings out the macadamia flavour.
I am upping the rating a little bit

it reminds me I have to rate this one…I too find it more enjoyable each time I drink it, it recently qualified for my 100gr tea list!

Bio

Hello,
I am a nurse. I have numerous hobbies: reading, crocheting, crafting, card making, scrapbooking, photography, shopping, and of course drinking TEA!

I started drinking loose leaf tea in Dec. 2010 when I went into a DavidsTea for the first time and have been hooked ever since! My favourite is probably white tea, but I also love black and oolong. I also like a nice relaxing rooibos or herbal in the evening. On Sundays, I like to treat myself and make a tea latte.

My favourite flavours are nutty, vanilla, chocolate, jasmine, tropical, fruity, earl grey.
My dislikes are lavender, rose, hibiscus, banana, and straight green or overly vegetal teas.

I am admittedly fairly generous in my rating scale. Most of my teas I rate at 90 and above, and would re-stock these teas.
Anything under 90 I probably wouldn’t re-stock unless I found a great price.
