484 Tasting Notes
I tried the bagged version of this, and it is just as good as it sounds. I really like the blend of flavors here. The nutmeg and clove are most predominate, which is wonderful for me because I love those flavors, and like them to dominate my chai spice blends. I tried it without milk or sugar and it was quite good, but I bet it would be even better with some milk and sweetener.
Flavors: Cloves, Nutmeg

This tea really reminded me of shampoo or soap or something. It must be something about the lotus taste, which is more floral than chamomile, that caused the association for me. People who like light, floral teas might want to give it a try, but I think I prefer straight chamomile.
Flavors: Flowers, Soap
Preparation
I found this tea to be OK. It’s somewhat weak, and the chocolate flavor (which tastes more like cocoa powder than chocolate) dominates over the orange. A little bit of Xylitol helped bring out the flavor somewhat, but I still don’t love it. It might be better double-bagged or steeped longer, but I don’t know that I feel it’s worth buying more to try that.
Flavors: Cocoa, Orange
Preparation
This is definitely not my cup of tea. It has an unpleasantly artificial vanilla almond flavor, and is somewhat bitter. It’s disappointing since it sounded so good.
Flavors: Almond, Artificial, Bitter, Vanilla
Preparation
I have a bit of an upset stomach today, so I decided it was a good day for a ginger tea. I’ve had one other lemon ginger tea, by Celestial Seasonings, and I think I actually like that one better. This is a bit more tart, and the lemon flavor isn’t as strong. It’s a good tea, but I prefer the sweetness of Celestial Seasoning’s version, especially for an upset stomach. I think it might be the hibiscus that detracts from the blend for me. I do like hibiscus in some teas, but I’m rather picky about it, and I don’t think I like it here.
Flavors: Ginger, Hibiscus, Lemon, Tart
Preparation
I really liked this. It doesn’t taste all that much like black forest cake, but I liked the way the cocoa balanced the black tea, and the hint of cherry added just the right complexity for me. It’s definitely a rich, dark chocolate flavor, and not very sweet, but it wasn’t at all bitter either, and it tasted like an indulgence to me. I’ll be getting more of this in the future!
Flavors: Cherry, Dark Chocolate
Preparation
I really enjoyed this. It reminds me of the spiced apple cider that my in-laws make at Christmastime. I don’t really taste the chamomile much, but the cinnamon and apple taste very good, and are complemented by just enough tartness from the hibiscus. I will definitely be buying more of this
Flavors: Apple, Cinnamon, Hibiscus, Sweet
