338 Tasting Notes
I’m not usually a plain green tea drinker, but I had one of those $1 sample packs of this to try so I figured why not? This was my first try of a Korean green tea, and I have to say… I rather enjoyed the flavour. Not quite what I was suspecting, but a pleasant surprise nonetheless. When I want to purchase a straight green in the future at DT… I know which one I’m going for.
I wanted to give all the fall teas a go before they disappear for the season, and I finally got around to trying this one. I liked it, but not as much as other nutty blends that I have tried in the past. I also was not aware of the mulberry component until after the fact, and that is not a favoured ingrdient of mine in teas. But I did enjoy the creaminess and, overall, it was a good sample.
I am loving the recommondations I am getting from my DT store! This one was billed as ‘the Forever Nuts of black teas’, and… mmmm. I loved the nutty flavour from this. Absolutely divine with a bit of milk. Definitely going to be picking up a tin of this at some later date.
I had this as a hot to-go sample from my local DT today… I had asked for something lemony and this didn’t disappoint! Yes, the lemon flavour is very in your face, but that is precisely how I like my lemon-based teas. Lovely black tea blend; definitely a future purchase.
Had this one recommended to me by one of employees at my DT – kudos to her, because I LOVED this one. I had milk added to my to-go cup (as I generally do with most of my black teas) and mmmm, this was a nice treat on a fall afternoon. I think I like coconut in my teas provided it is subtle, as I got with this cup. And vanilla is also becoming a favourite of mine!
This is on par with Mango Madness for me, I think! Tried it hot as a TTG today (for being the last day of summer it was damn cold out!) and mmmmm. I rather enjoyed it! I don’t like a lot of fruit-based teas hot but I think that when it’s finally time to retire the iced teas for another season I’ll go and pick some of this to get my fruit fix. I’m starting to get a thing for teas infused with vanilla, so this will also work on that front.
