338 Tasting Notes
I wish this would be made part of the permanent collection – yum! One of my favourite flavoured black teas, hands down. I remember it being slightly expensive for a black tea, but it has the all-elusive pomegranate (one of my favourite tea flavours). One of these days…
I finally caved an got a tin of this, becaise it’s the one tea in my house that all the tea drinkers love. I wish it wasn’t so expensive, but it’s an oolong, so I will have to grin and bear it. I love the pineapple flavour, I love the lightness and the smell is to die for. Definitely a keeper.
This one is good, but it needs more pear, I think! DT does their apple teas well. but I think I’m in the ‘off’ stage in my on and off relationship with that particular flavour, LOL. Once I tire a little more of cinnamon teas, I reckon this one will make the rounds again.
Another one I have to try again soon, but from my memory… this smelled like pie and tasted delicious. Coconut, lemon and a hint of ginger. Much more to my taste than Cocomint Cream (a lighter, less creamy tea, I think), and if it wasn’t so expensive, again it probably would have found a home on my tea shelf. As it stands for now, I’ll just have to get it in samples or use some frequent steeper points to get it.
I’ve had a couple of cups of this in the past few days – mmmm. I LOVE Darjeelings, and I especially love this particular blend. Black tea has always been my favourite, and this one is a super comforting drink – right behind the Earl Grey family. I add a splash of milk and I get into a happy mood. I want a Darjeeling present in my tea cupboard at all times, haha.
One of my favourite straight oolongs, and thankfully it’s in a price range I can afford, haha. It’s been a while since I’ve had this one, and as soon as my cupboard clears out a little I think I ought to bring back some of this.
I think I got ginseng confused with ginger, because I remember this tea tasting not at all like I was expecting it to, LOL. And that’s probably tainting my rating of it, but so be it. Not terrible, but there are definitely other oolongs I will reach for before I pick this one.
Again, another tea that’s a bit to expensive for my tastes. The coconut and caramel taste is a bit of a weird one to me, so I don’t like this as much as most other people appear to. I think I like my coconut flavours blended with fruit above all else. The cup of this I had a while back was good, but I don’t think I’ll go for it again on my own.
