721 Tasting Notes
What am I doing with my life right now.
So I moved to Florida because of an internship and I only managed to bring like half my teas with me and I’ve already drank them all so now I’m blending them together and tonight is LESTRADE WITH CARAMEL AND IRISH BREAKFAST. It’s okay. But I just want the rest of my tea now. And I know I can’t buy more because I’ll have to bring them back home when my internship ends.
THE STRUGGLE THAT IS MY LIFE.
I wanted to experiment so I decided to brew this just just milk. I usually brew it with water and then add like 982374 gallons of milk because this chai on its own is just.. ehh okay. So milk on the stovetop with a scoop of chai is pretty good! Had to add a little bit of sugar but this is still a pretty good chai :)
Ohhhh this is good. It tastes a bit like Earl Grey without the bergamot? I think? Or maybe a blend of Earl Grey and English Breakfast. Either way, it’s gooood.
I accidentally steeped this longer than it should have and it turned out to be very bitter, Nothing but a bit of plain old water to fix that! I’m drinking this plain right now. It’s good on its own. Doesn’t need milk or sugar; just a nice simple tea :)
**drinking it a bit more and it has a very slight nutty taste.
Preparation
Chamomile alone is okay. I’ve had other chamomile blends where the chamomile was overpowering the other flavours. This blend, however, oh the chamomile was there, but I was able to taste the other flavours as well! The rose kinda got lost a bit after the second steeping, but overall a very wonderful flowery blend :)
Preparation
Oh my gosh. I don’t know if I like this one or Snowbud more, but ahhhh I love this tea!
I love how it’s not like super grassy like the other white teas that I’ve had. This is like the perfect flavour. It’s like the big sister of Snowbud :)
