I freakin love this thing so much you have no idea
This was one of my sister’s christmas presents to me, but I bought it because I get points hehe :)
I’ve been brewing all my teas with this thing because it’s so easy to use and so easy with cleanup! At first I was confused with the cleanup, but I just pop the mesh out, and then pop out the bottom plug thing and viola, easy peasy! Be wary though. Make sure that the rubber thingies in the plug section are on correct bc this morning, I didn’t exactly pop everything back into place and it started leaking. Boiling water all over your hands is a bad thing… and I tried fixing it, and it just got stuck.
And when you place it on the stand, make sure it’s centered because then again, leaks!

It’s super easy to use, but keep in mind that you’re working with hot liquid and if it’s not sealed correctly, that liquid can leak.

Lovely lovely LOVELY and I’ll definitely keep using this again and again! My teapot is just used for show now :)

I celebrate my sipdowns now because I have so many teas oh my gosh

But this was a free tea bc Starbucks rewards and it was pretty good! A very nice green tea :) Very vegetal and definitely something that is an acquired taste. Roommates hate it, but I actually enjoy this tea :)

I already have a reward in my account and the next time I find myself at the mall, I’ll get another tea :)

Shmiracles gave me a sample in my first swap about a year ago, and when I went to DAVIDs just last month, I had to get this tea again!
Decided to make this this morning in my Steeper and I think I attached my Steeper all weird because first it was leaking all over. And then I toggled the bottom bit, and after that when I placed it over my Timolino, it like.. the tea wasn’t coming out :/ Rough morning with the Steeper, but the tea still turned out fine!

Took it with me to class and I had Step Aerobics this morning and my roommates and I decided to take that class together! It’s great because that’s the only class I have Tuesday/Thursday and it’s right next to our Rec Center sooooooo I totally could work out right after. I DON’T WORK OUT BUT THE REC CENTER IS PRETTY AND IT’S INCLUDED IN TUITION SO I FEEL LIKE I HAVE TO USE IT AHHH

But yeah. This tea is great and it still remains one of my favourites :)

Mmm this tea
This tea smelled so lovely from the 12 days of tea that I got a while ago!
I love the cinnamonny apple sweet bread taste that I get from this upon the first sip. It’s a tad weak on the sweet side, but just a touch of agave brought some of the flavours out!

All in all, a very lovely tea on this cold(ish) morning :)

I know I don’t post on so much anymore, but that’s because Disney has ended :( Well, College Program, that is! I had my last day as a CP yesterday, and Sunday will be my first day as a part time cast member :) Nothing too special, I’m still at Disney! hehe :) The main difference is the fact that I get like no hours, which is good because I have to focus on school this quarter. Ahh too many things going on right now!

But yeah. THIS TEA.
Well, first off, I freakin love my DAVIDsTEA Steeper like IT’S SO EASY TO USE AND CLEAN UP IS FAB. I might have to do a separate review on that.
But I got this tea like last week as a part of my Starbucks reward and the people were just staring at me. I asked if I could get an oz of this tea and they were trying to get me to purchase other teas or purchase it in a tin or whatever and I’m all naww, I just want the tea please! Did you want to purchase a tea to drink on your way out? Naww just the tea please

I’m freakin lost without my tea scale so my proportions might’ve been a bit off, but this tea ended up a bit bitter in the beginning. And then after a couple sips, it started to mellow out a bit :) It’s really good! $15 an ounce, and a minimum 2oz for a purchase is a bit steep for me (ha. get it?), but this works for the rewards and rewards I shall use!

Thank you Starbucks for all these extra perks. I reach my rewards constantly because of the Starbucks backstage. And because of that, free teeeeeaaaa!!!

Ahhh I drank this DAYS ago, but never had the time to log it! Dude. This tea is SO good. Just the perfect hint of floral to a tea. I think… I think I actually have to purchase this tea because I didn’t really savour my time with it. Gotta get more!

Thank you tons to Laurant for sending me a sample of this months ago! Dude. I’ve been so busy, I haven’t had the time to sit and drink tea. But now that finals weeks is upon us, its time for tea!

This ones was just okay. A nice blend of flavours, but I’m not the biggest fan of sweet strawberry/cherry/raspberry flavours in a black/green blend. I tend to like those more as herbal flavours. Ahh well, it’s a lovely tea, just not for me!

Part of the 12 Days of Tea from DAVIDs!

Decided to drink this one even if it’s not one of my favourites only because I’m not feeling well and tea is a must today :( Figured I’d better drink a cold fighting tea!

Last week I drove back home for Thanksgiving and it was TONS of fun! Left at 3am, arrived at 10-11ish. Had our festivities. I was told we were going to leave at noon to drive back down to Southern California buuut I got woken up at 7:45 in the morning, being told to get up and get ready because we were going to San Francisco!! Ahh so exciting :) We went and had fun. I saw that there was a DAVIDs promo where you spend $30 in store and you get a free tote and I was all AWW YISS. Went to the store and the last said that you had to spend $60 and I was all…??? But apparently that was a Canadian offer and the offer here in the US was spend $35 and you get a free perfect mug! So that’s what I did because I couldn’t control myself. I ended up getting the 12 Days of Tea, an oz or two of peppermint because my sister was running low, and an ounce of this tea bc I didn’t have any tea from the fall collection.

Definitely made this weird.
I think over steeped, over leafed, and too hot water? Blegh the bitterness is real.
Definitely dowsed this tea with milk and sugar haha. The second cup should be better!

Marco Polo TTB

Saw this in the box and had to try some! I just got a wee 3g sample :)
Dude. I’m so lost without my tea scale. Last time I remember seeing it, is when I got the Marco Polo box. Now it’s nowhere to be found? Aww I’m so sad. I’ll find it eventually? Hopefully?

But it’s almost christmastime and I’m so excited for the holidays! This one smells like wonderful pumpkin pie. I think my water may have been a bit too hot because it’s on the slight bitter side, but at least I do taste the pumpkin! I’ve been meaning to place a Butiki order, but I have SO much tea. Hopefully they’ll still be open when I lessen my tea stash? I’ve had plenty of their teas and I’ve fallen in love with so many of them, but I need to lessen my tea stash and save up before I can get more!
