I had this in the morning on the go from the store. It was smooth and creamy, which is something I’m starting to associate with guayasas. The Papaya was nice and the peach added to the papaya while maintaining it’s own identity. As this cooled it oddly started tasting strongly of oregano.

Trying to ward off my afternoon craving for sweets. This is helping a little. There is something artificial about the taste, but in this case it works. mmm… just like key lime pie!

I can finally add teas! Woohoo!

So I’m trying this tea because my allergies are a little out of control. I know it’s medicinal, but I enjoy the flavor as well. The peppermint and liquorice clear my nose a little. I’ve always liked the smell of clover and I’m starting to enjoy the nettles flavor.

Hopefully this helps!

I’ve been drinking my nettles every day. I can get away with skipping a day once in awhile if I don’t go outside, but I really notice the difference!

I’m hoping if I drink this constantly today, I’ll see improvement. So far, not so much. My skin is so itchy!!

Allergies make me feel prickly all over, inside & out. I feel irritated by the through & through. If you can get some straight nettles, drinking strong infusion of it is even more helpful: 1/4 cup leaf to 8 oz, boiling water, steep 2 — 8 hours. Then strain & enjoy. I usually steep mine overnight on the counter in a jar with a lid on it to keep the dust out.

A very grassy green tea, slightly bitter. I must try steeping this at a lower temperature. The vanilla was just right- not too overpowering, very natural. I added a little alfalfa honey half way through the cup and it helped make it slightly less bitter.

I tried this again this morning and I steeped it for a much much shorter time, just about 30 seconds. It was much less seaweed-y. In fact it was grass or like greens maybe even slightly buttery and not bittter at all! It’s amazing what steeping properly does. I also used less leaf. I think I actually enjoy this green now! :-)

I tried this last night before I went to bed. It was ok. I’ve had better peach teas and I’ve had better mango teas. There was a bitter taste that I felt belonged to an un-ripe mango and I would have like a little more peach. I didn’t taste the base, but I wasn’t trying to hard because I was tired.

Now I’ve tried all the teas I got from the two try-me packs from Della Terra Teas. Most of the teas have been just ok. Some of them stood out to me: Cactus Flower, Lemon Pepper Melange, Lime Chiffon, and Jassmint. The rest were pretty average or just not my cup of tea.

I shared this with my co-worker who loves flowers during our afternoon snack attack. Lovely as usual. I only have the one tea ball at work, so I took the second steep. I find the second steep a little more peppery and I like that about this tea.

Well it’s definitely ginger! :-) All I could really taste was the ginger and peppercorns. Maybe a little of the licorice and green tea in the aftertaste about midway through the cup. When it cooled to room temperature, it tasted kind of awful. Much better steaming hot!

This is a lovely floral tea. I find a lot of jasmine teas have a very bitter aftertaste that leaves my mouth dry, but his one only has a touch of that. The mouthfeel iis rich and smooth, only leaving the slightest dryness. The white tea is of course subtle, but has a little bit of a kick to it that prevents it from being bland.

I drank this again this morning in a proper cup, not my travel mug and it was so satisfying. Last time I drank it the primary taste to me was honey, this time fruity notes stuck out to me more. I could definitely taste why some people say they taste apricot.

I run, I sing, I drink tea. That’s the best description I have of me.

I’ve always enjoyed tea, but have just started trying out a lot more loose teas and varied brands. I’m really excited about a site like steepster so I can read about what people think about different teas.

Oh and I really hate Lipton tea. There’s something just awful about it and I can’t understand why nearly every local diner only has Lipton.

Also I’m on the search for a full-bodied, fruity blackberry tea. So if you have any suggestions feel free to throw them my way! :-)
