Twinings

This tea definitely makes a pleasant summer cuppa!

This always tastes great, but sometimes I am just not in the right mood for it. Today it was awesome. Thank you, Twinings.

I felt like just plain vanilla black tea today, so I brought this to work to drink. I have to say, I don’t remember this blend being as blah as it tasted today! Definitely a huge disappointment based on my memouries of liking it a lot in the past. Not sure what’s different today, but I’m kind of glad I only have a bag or two more left now.

I’ll give it another try before adjusting my rating permanently, but I really over-rated it based on how it tasted today.

This is my favourite “just vanilla” tea out of the ones I’ve tried. I think I prefer Bigelow’s Vanilla blends better (Vanilla Chai and Vanilla Caramel), but this is pretty good when I’m in the right mood. Vanilla + black tea = not much to say!

I’m on my last few bags of this and hadn’t realized it was no longer available. I’m not totally sure I would’ve bought another box, just because I have so many different vanilla teas at the moment, but I’m still sad! This is a good basic vanilla black tea—I always like Twinings.

Fruity, but not overly so. Flavors mellow and blend together. Good overall, but nothing jumps out.

This has been my favorite tea now for over ten years. I get sad when I run out! My local grocery store doesn’t always carry it, so I usually order it in multiple boxes online. It’s a nice strong black tea with a confident blackcurrant flavor addition- sigh, wish it came in decaf so I could drink it at night, too. I always drink it black; sugar would be okay but can’t imagine adding milk.

A nice, basic jasmine tea. The floral notes balance the bitterness of the green tea, but it’s not the most exciting drink. I’ve had better jasmine teas from specialty stores, but if you want something quick and cheap from the grocery store, this makes a decent brew.

Strong flavor :)

This is a fantastic morning tea. Something in the aroma reminds me of early mornings of my childhood. Such a wonderful smooth taste for early mornings!

I have had many cups of tea in the past month or so that I have forgotten to log. Pardon me! To avoid getting things too exciting as I ease back into the world of tea logging, I have prepared a cup of a Twinings Earl Grey, a pleasant tea, but not one very likely to overstimulate.
