I am in agreement here. A very tasty tea…..I’m not sure if TJ’s carries this one anymore but a good tea none the less.

I recieved a box of this in a “care package” my brother and sister-in-law made when my daughter was born. I will say that it is quite tasty and I’m not sure if TJ’s carries it any more but a good inexpensive black tea.

Strong and stout and not sweet…like I like my women…..kidding. A good brew for a cold afternoon I’m liking it more getting a little more maltiness… not too bad really.

I bought a box of this obviously because it was very well priced. I am a coffee drinker so the fact that is strong a little bitter doesn’t bother so much. It is my first experience with an Irish breakfast tea. It’s not fabulous but not terrible either. It’s one that I would keep on hand for variety.

I had to try this a multitude of times before commenting. I really like this tea. I’ve been on a tea journey now for maybe 7 years, but I’m still in the bagged zone. I have to say that this tea has a lot of mint zip to it. I like that a LOT. It is great for an afternoon pick-me-up. I like my tea with sweetness, so I add some stevia to this, but that is all this tea needs (for me). Soy or almond milk would just sully the brightness of it. The cinnamon/vanilla is there, but so subtle. Really a pleasure to drink :o)

Never thought that I would enjoy a decaf tea, but somehow this worked!

I saw this recommended in one of the food blogs that I regularly read, so when I saw it at Trader Joe’s, I picked up a box. The peppermint aroma is enjoyable as soon as you open the box, and remains even after a double steeping.

I will probably hoard a few boxes of this so that I can enjoy it long after the holiday season.

I used this on my master cleanse detox & always looked forward to it. It’s pretty calming & I still enjoy a pot from time to time.

Has a very beautiful deep red color (ruby?). Has a very strong pomegranate flavor. Not a lite tea.

Oh man, I really LOVE this tea! Obviously I found it at TJs & I didn’t realize until I brewed a pot that it is very similar to Celestial Seasoning’s Nutcracker Sweet, which I adore (at a TJs price – which I adore even more!) I bought a bunch of boxes for Christmas presents. I just recently found the TJs Candy Cane Green Tea on this site & will start my local TJ search! Thankful for Steepster.com :o)

drank Jasmine Pearl by Trader Joe's

Definitely tasty but light. Both the jasmine and the green tea are a bit on the meh side in terms of flavor; neither stands out particularly. The proportions are right and the tea is enjoyable, but it’s just a bit superficial in terms of flavor. Definitely a good, enjoyable day-to-day jasmine green, if that’s your thing, and the price is great.

Side note: I find that there’s often something disagreeable about jasmine tea at this price, but think that this tea entirely enjoyable. Props to TJs.

A solid jasmine tea, but nothing special. Good for the price, nice to have around.

My favorite mid-afternoon tea. Even though it’s decaf, it still gives me a bit of a jumpstart <3

I think I score this tea it as highly as I do because I find it so unexpectedly drinkable. Normally, I dislike Irish Breakfast blends. I often find them too aggressive and too bitter. This is uncommonly smooth and surprisingly pleasant.

I am always on the search for that perfect blend. The perfect breakfast blend (it’s LiberTEAS, in case you’re still looking), the perfect chamomile (an ongoing search), and the perfect Earl Grey-type blend.

teabird very kindly sent this to me. I’ve no Trader Joe’s around here, and loved the thought of orange with the bergamot.

The flavors do translate as “lemon” once they hit your tongue. It’s smooth, and has just the right amount of scent to let you know that, yes, it’s a member of the Earl Grey family, even though it’s the result of a rendevous with some scandalous lemony fiend, and the elders of the family put it in little bags and sent it off on its way.

If you can’t tell, I’m very impressed with it, and think that this would be a fantastic tea to keep on hand at the office, or to have tucked into my purse while on the road. I’ll have to find my nearest Trader Joe’s and plan a trek to pick some up…yes, I think it’s that good.

Ooh, sounds like a good Earl. I’ll have to look for this at the trader Joe’s near me. I’d love to have a scandalous fiend of a lemon Earl in my cupboard!

These are my favorite discoveries here on Steepster; hidden gems sitting right out on the grocery shelf. I was surprised by the high marks a tea at Target has been getting and now TJ’s.

Nice sized bag, mostly whole leaf, light flavor. It’s a little perfumy, but not too bad. Nice tea.

I had it iced. Very tasty. Not overwhelming with jasmine, which is the way I like it. Would be lovely as hot, too. Uncurled beautifully in bag. Very nice bagged tea, full of flavor.

drank Irish Breakfast by Trader Joe's

Oh nice, someone made a page for this stuff. I had a box of this last summer and used it all as sweet tea. It was actually pretty good, especially for the price. I mean, it’s not something I would sit and savor… it’s more like fodder for when I want to have something on hand in the fridge. It’s better than the everyday supermarket’s private brand, at least.

This tea smells amazing which complements the taste wonderfully. Usually I don’t like too lemony a flavor but this tea balances well! The only thing I would change was to add a tad more orange flavor but otherwise a great tea for the price.

I oversteeped this a bit (forgot to set a timer), but a little dash of sugar saves it very easily. I love how lemony this is, and how wonderful with milk.
