Just a small bit of green tea to get me through the afternoon here at work. I really like the fact that I can taste the goji in this one (as compared to Zhena’s goji cacao, where I have yet to find it). This is my last bag of this I have (only bought a travel tin to try it out), and I’m not sure if I’ll get more. Chances are no, since there’s so many other teas out there that I want to try first. If it were on sale, though, chances are that it would end up back in my cupboard.
Preparation
Today’s one of those days at work. You know, the kind where you can get nothing you want to get done accomplished because the phone is constantly ringing? Yup, it’s that kind of morning. So I needed a happy, yummy tea to both calm me down and give me a bit of energy. Green tea it is!
I can taste more of the goji berries in this tea than the raspberry, and both more than the green tea (which seems to be common for Republic of Tea greens, or is that just me?). This is sweet and just the perfect shade of tart.
Think it’ll sweeten my disposition whilst answering the phones? Yeah, I don’t think so, either.
Preparation
When I got this out to make a small pot tonight, I went to pull out two bags. There were only 3 left. So having a slightly bigger pot, and have one less tea in my cupboard.
I love the key lime paired with the hibiscus. It’s sweet and not too tart. I’ll probably end up getting some more, but may end up getting the Vanilla Apple version first (since it’s the only one that I haven’t had).
Preparation
Mental note: Don’t take sip immediately after eating apple cinnamon graham crackers. It’s not at all pleasant.
Lively and tart; you can definitely taste the lime. Republic of Tea has done a great job with this line. After the tangerine, this one’s my favorite. I brew for 10 minutes.
Preparation
I love blood oranges. I especially love sharing them with people who have never had them before. The comments on the appearance or on the name are priceless, but everyone loves the taste.
This tea has the distinct citrus taste of blood oranges; coupled with the cinnamon, it makes for a crisp, sweet cup that’s perfect for a fall morning.
I just wish it were fall already.
