Solid. Reminds of free Japanese restaurant tea.

Got this tea last night after dinner with the hubby. A little sushi and afterwards in the grocery store, I saw this little gem! Mmmm I think this is one of the better mint teas I have ever had. It tastes full bodied and creamy to me. Very nice and easy on the throat. Fragrant fresh mint wafts through the air…ahhh :) delightful.

I wonder if it is possible to become a te-a-holic. If so, I am rapidly becoming one. This evening, I once again couldn’t resist reaching for another (caffeine-free) tea to accompany my dessert. I was very fortunate to flip a coin in favor of the Bushmen’s Brew Honeybush selection. I couldn’t have picked a more appropriate time to take this delicious number for a spin. It is easy to see how Honeybush got its name. This tea has a wonderful natural sweetness that happily walked hand-in-hand with my butterscotch pudding. The sweet Honeybush is delightful, with a light and easy flavor. There was no bitterness, even after six minutes of steeping. As of now, this scrumptious tea is the leading candidate for my night cup.

drank Aged Earl Grey by Numi Organic Tea

I am down to the last bag of this… so sad.

In my search for the perfect Earl Grey, I would have to say that this is by far the best. Since the tea is aged with bergamot the flavour is so much more complex than teas that use merely the oil or flavourings. This is the perfect tea for a London Fog and I will even go so far as to bring my own teabag to cafes, order an extra hot vanilla steamer, then make my own London Fog with the Numi teabag. Sneaky? Yes, but worth it for the fullness of the Numi Earl Grey.

Excellent Oolong. I was surprised at how much the leaves expanded. This Ti Kuan Yin is right up there with the best I’ve had. Nice Flower fragrance, smooth Oolong flavor. Highly enjoyable. Brews 3 steeps well. Nice selection Numi….

The first time I tried a rooibos tea, I didn’t like it. I thought it was tasteless and not strong and it wasn’t very good. That is why I have been putting off trying this tea. But tonight, I finally broke down and made myself a small pot of this with boiling water.

The liquid was a darker brown with a light tan color around the rim of my glass. It looked very pretty. The smell was dark and spicy. It smelled good in my cup. Then I took the plunge and tried it. It was pretty good. I really didn’t taste that much besides cinnamon and another unidentified spice. It was also mellow, which was nice. Overall, it was much better than I expected.

Since it was chai, I wanted to try some of it with a bit of milk. On the half of my second cup, I poured a little Silk Vanilla Soy in my cup. It didn’t bring out any flavors in the tea itself, but it made it smoother. It would have been good if it was boiled with milk at a stronger flavor with just a dash of honey over the stove. If I ever get a chance to try it again, I might try it like that. Or I just might drink it straight since it is very good straight.

This one tastes similar to Twinings, but it is much more astringent. While it cools it gets more bitter. I can see why they stopped making this one and started making their Aged Earl Grey. And I used my last tea bag for this one.

This is another one of my tea tin finds. I went through it this afternoon and took one of each teabag that I wanted to try. I was craving the Earl today, so here he is.

The liquor is very dark and you can smell the tea very well. The tea itself is tasty. It is a little less smooth than Numi’s Aged Earl Grey. The bergamot isn’t overwhelming. I just like the Aged Earl better than this one. That being said, this is still a tasty cup and lands itself on the light green smiley on my rating.

I haven’t met an Earl I didn’t like yet and Numi rarely disappoints.

I’m finally drinking the last tea bag of this. It is soft and smooth and sweet. Reminds me of honey without being overly so. Little strange to be having in the morning, but I’m trying to make it a good day today.

My other roommate (not grayfoxgirl) has a box of tea bags that she either bought or got from other friends. I found this one and decided to try it because it is a Numi Teas and I like most of their teas.

I have never really tried a straight chamomile tea before. I have tried it in blends but that was about it, so I was glad to find a plain chamomile tea. I was pleasantly surprised when the tea was a very nice golden yellow color. It tasted very delicate and floral and strong. It was a nice strong. It announced itself without being overbearing. The big surprise was that this tea tasted sweet. Almost like I had added honey in it even though I didn’t. I really liked that sweetness.

I don’t think that there is another bag in the tea box, but I would be willing to go through and try to find another one. If I ran into this tea again, I would gladly drink it.

Received a box of this as a gift — I normally can’t stand the rooty flavor of rooibos, but this one was quite tolerable with a dollop of honey. It may be too weak for an actual rooibos fan, though.

My fiancee always makes me a cup of this tea if I am overly nervous about something. It does calm me down and settle my stomach, but I have never really liked it hot. I think I prefer it as an iced tea with just a touch of sugar. Then it is wonderfully delicious!

My boyfriend made me a cup of tea today and he knew I wanted to try this tea. The tea bag leaked some peppermint powder when it was steeping, so it made the cup look a little unpleasant, but it didn’t effect the tea at all.

I thought this was a little weak. It had a little bit more of a peppermint taste to it, but not much. It tasted smoother than the Stash Peppermint tea and that was nice. I think the next time I have a bag I will have to steep it really strong. It could be that I like steeping herbal teas stronger than my normal cup of tea and that is why I’m not getting the full flavor I would like. I want to try this at least two more times before I stop drinking it. One with a stronger steep and one iced.

This was one of the few left in my Numi sampler box. I usually don’t like white teas, but this was lovely, simple, and flowery. There was something “nectary” about it too. The Numi White Rose was slightly better though, just because it had that rose aspect.

Iced earl grey with some splenda to sweeten it up is a happy way to escape from the heat. Got this cuppa from my local coffee joint and really like it. For some reason I never thought to drink ice tea before I had it here but now I’m a huge fan.

Iced EG is one of, if not, my favorite iced tea. I almost always drink it plain. Since I found my Chai, I’ve been drinking it Iced & it is so refreshing!

I saw this at Whole Foods the other day. It was tempting.

This is a good bagged tea I was lucky and got it from my cousin. I had it early as the first cup of the day and it was fine. The caffeine was low in this one.. you get a dusty veggy smell with some sweetness.. The color is green.. The flavor has a lot of the sweetness from the jasmine i believe.. as far as a Organic bagged tea goes this one is good..

drank Jasmine Green by Numi Organic Tea

What a smooth tea! The smell while the tea was steeping was fairly strong, leading me to expect a bitter tea, but it isn’t at all. Not sweet, but no hint of bitterness. It is a bit disappointing; the jasmine smell is stronger then the taste. It’s a decent bagged jasmine tea, and I would give it to people who never have had jasmine and those who love it.

I thouroughly enjoyed this tea; rich and malty flavor. I was saddened when I made and use the last tea bag. Not yet replaced/purchase another box.

I so missed having more of the Emperor’s Puerh since this box finished. I have been meaning to try and purchase more but have not gotten around to it. It is on wish list for now.

I enjoyed the malty flavoring of this tea. I was so happy to find Puerh teabags since all I had been seeing was loose leaf or tea cakes from places like Yunnan China. I hope I have spelled it correctly. Thank you Numi Tea folks.

This is the last pack of Aged Earl that I stole (well, he let me have) from my fiance’s tea stash. I don’t know what is with me overbrewing this tea lately, but I accidentally made it strong! Wow. I feel like a spoon could stand up in my tea. It is still a very dark brown even after I add milk in it. Good thing this is a very hard tea to screw up because it still tastes excellent!
