Numi Organic Tea

Nice solid Black Tea Scent. Typical Color for a black tea. Has a hint of floral taste but just a hint…if you weren’t looking (or tasting) for it you might miss it. Plus a tad of citrus undertone is a nice touch. I really like this tea.

I was prepared to dislike this but found I drank whole cup without complaint.

A pleasant chai taste without the overpowering spice that some chai blends have. The most prominent flavour is cinnamon, followed by cardamom. Die-hard chai lovers may find this tea too weak for their tastes, as even prolonged brewing times do not produce an overly strong tea, and it is easily watered down by milk. More of a ‘beginners’ chai, but nice nonetheless!

This was my first rooibos based chai. It’s good. The spices are nice, and it’s nice to get the chai flavor in a caffeine free herbal form.

second steep was still very good!

I’ve been saving these for a while, having heard good things. I’m having a cup now and it’s amazing!

I think I let this steep too long. I’m not really a fan, even though it flowered.

Second steep was for way longer than recommended. Probably about half an hour! I added some agave before even sipping, but after trying it, I don’t think the sweetener was even needed!

Thumbs up for the display as much as the taste. This is a good cup of black tea, but the thing that sets it apart is the flower. I know my second cup will steep past the point I typically like, but I’m still looking forward to the second cup.

I was going through my tea closet, looking for some matcha, and found a few Numi flower teas! I over-steeped this one a bit, (I really liked the look of the flower, so I didn’t want to pour out the water!), but it is still very, very good. I’m having it without any sweetener.

An old standby favorite.

I steeped for 6 minutes. It’s not a very strong rooibos. It doesn’t have the rich flavor that so many do.

I had the Aged Earl Grey: Fair Trade Certified™, Certified Organic Italian Bergamot Black Tea. Steeping for 3 minutes (3-5 recommended) produced a perfect cup of tea. I’m not typically an Earl Grey drinker. It is usually too bitter for my tastes. This cup was delightful. The bergamot was not too strong.

Today I had the Golden Chai. I steeped it for 4 minutes (recommended 3-5). This is not a strong chai by any means. I like my chai to be very strong, so that when milk is added, it becomes a creamy spicy tea. This was not like that at all. Nice flavor, but too weak for my tastes.

Earthy vanilla flavor. No sugar (I don’t really like the taste in this kind of thing). I might have steeped it a bit long, but it tastes good.

Refreshing flavor. The lemon is the perfect blend with this green tea.

This may replace my English Breakfast as my morning tea. I steeped it for 3 minutes, and it is the perfect gentle cup of tea for the morning. No aftertaste, no bitterness, just a lovely balance of black tea and orange pekoe.

I had this last night before bed. It was the perfect relaxer. Even though I oversteeped it (12 minutes versus the 4-6 recommended), there was no aftertaste, and the flavor was wonderful. The mixture of lemon and chamomile was the most relaxing end to the day.

Had it for the SMELL of it! :)
