This tin is seriously going to be empty SO fast. xD It’s just amazing! Love it!
Ha, looks like no regrets there, eh? It’s about time I grab more.
This tastes like maple icing to me. :)
Ah, I love this tea!! I haven’t had it in like 5 months. And Virginia had only sent me enough for a couple cups. So this is my first time having it since! I absolutely love it still!
It’s ever so slightly woody, but overall it’s super sweet and delicious!
Been a rough day, and I’m glad to have this to cheer me up!
So amazingly delicious!
I finally have a 100g tin!!!! Yah!! :D :D
Flavors: Cake, Creamy, Pancake Syrup, Sweet
This tea tastes exactly like birthday cake. I added two spoonfuls of sugar to it (just regular spoonfuls of standard sugar, nothing fancy) and with the great health benefits of Rooibos, it’s great to enjoy on a nice afternoon-or any time of day when you’re feeling like birthday cake!
Not a very good Yin Zhen. A mainly stemmy taste that only has a fraction of the aromatic punch you’d expect. It’s not a bad introduction to white teas, but every other Yin Zhen I’ve had has been much more impressive.
Flavors: Peach, Pear, Sweet Potatoes

Oh my gosh this smells like christmas and it tastes so good I love it so much.
I’ve been listening to Christmas music since September and AHH CHRISTMAS IS COMING.
Christmas decorations are already up in Disneyland!!! And everything is going to be up officially starting the 13th! Ahh I’m so excited for all the Holiday festivities :))
But this tea is fab and I love it so much. It tastes like lovely christmas aww <33
sidenote: I’ve lost my tea scale ugh :(
Got a sample of this from the very generous, Boychik!
Wasn’t sure if I’d like this one since I’m not a super huge chai fan unless it’s cloudy and rainy (and it barely ever is here, sadly ><). So didn’t buy it, but been wanting to know what the hype was all about at the same time.
I honestly expected this tea to be super pumpkin-y or mainly just chai.
But I was pleasantly surprised!
Chai is usually really strong, and almost too strong sometimes. But the pumpkin in this tea really balances it out. It had a really good mix of both flavors.
Plus!
It’s pretty freakin’ cute with the little pumpkin sprinkles…or are they hearts? Kinda hard to tell. xD But I love tea with sprinkles in them…makes it so cute. xD
This may actually be the best pumpkin tea I’ve ever tried. Not sure if I will purchase any this year, but I have a close friend who would love this. Hopefully he will be in the states next year and if he is and this tea comes back again next fall I’ll totally get some for him. That’s a pretty for sure thing if it comes back next year. :P I’m sure that drinking the rest of this generous sample will help me decide about purchasing any this year though.
So happy I finally tried it! Definitely understand the hype! :D
Thank you so much for the sample, Boychik! :D :D
Flavors: Caramel, Pumpkin, Spices
Missed this last year, but my local DT had a bunch of 25g packs in the sale section, so I grabbed one. I rather like it – sweet and clovey, very Christmassy but without nasty hibiscus which too many Christmas teas seem to contain. I left the tea steeping in the mug the entire time, and it just got better – I would like to try it with proper infusions but I doubt it’s a long-lasting tea. I’m debating picking up another pack of it before it disappears, but being so heavy, it’s a pretty expensive tea by weight…. Also, best not to develop too much of a taste for a discontinued tea!
This is one of those teas that you need to drink room temp or cold in order to taste all the flavours. The citrus taste isn’t overwhelming at all but its there. Over all its a pretty smooth tea.
Flavors: Citrus Zest, Orange

How is it that I had to add this one to the database?! Has no one really reviewed sencha from Davids??? really?! I wonder if it’s a glitch.
Anyhow, I took this one camping with me because a friend asked for green tea and I didn’t have much in my cupboard for sharing. I historically dislike sencha, so I wasn’t too bothered either way having it in my cupboard.
Except… well then I had a cuppa and it was suprisingly tasty. I actually enjoyed sencha, for the first time in pretty much ever. My preferences must be changing. Interesting.
Something about the grass texture is rather pleasing.
I thought this would be a nice variation on a Chai tea. Sadly, it was so bad that I threw away the entire package. It had some flavor that was just off-putting – perhaps a strong Caradmon? I am not sure – and I love Chai – just not this Chai. At all.
I was looking for a nice, spicy Chai that had a strong cinnamon flavor to it. I had hoped that this Chai would be the one that I was searching for. Alas, it was not. It was a good Chai. There is a cinnamon note – it is just fairly subtle. My search continues….
Flavors: Cardamon, Cinnamon, Ginger
I bought this tea based on the smell alone and I was excited to try it. Unfortunately, I really didn’t enjoy it :(. It was way too sweet for me and it didn’t really taste like coconut or chocolate. I think it was partly because this is an oolong tea.
Preparation
I’m not typically a fan of Earl Grey teas but this one I really enjoyed. It wasn’t overpowering as an earl grey flavour but it was still super yummy. I sadly only have 2 little pots from one of their special boxes (I think it was the Christmas countdown? Maybe the Easter one? I’m not sure). I still love it though and would definitely look into purchasing more. (Do they still sell this? I clearly don’t know much about this tea)
I wish I had more of this wonderful tea left in my cupboard. I remember this being one of my first loose leaf teas back in 2012. It doesn’t really taste like cookie dough but it does taste miraculous. I love it. I secretly hope they’ll bring it back sometime.
I steeped this tea at a cooler temperature than I steep most teas, and it was delicious. I didn’t need any sweetener or milk and it tasted great. I wish DAVIDsTEA would bring this back at least for the winter!!
Preparation
From David’s Tea, I knew I shouldn’t expect anything less than perfection. The smell in the bag was enticing enough. I told my fiance to pick out a tea since I had so many to try and she just threw the bag, I didn’t argue since it was David’s Tea, and I’m quite impressed.
At first I was a big skeptical, mixing black tea with red tea didn’t seem like a delicious idea but the ingredients said otherwise, hints of jasmine in between. Overall the experience was fruity, but that nice red and black tea taste reminded you that this wasn’t grandmas house. I would love to stock on this tea more.
Flavors: Berries, Fruity, Jasmine

If so, I like that tea a lot! I also like “Glitter & Gold”, so pretty to brew.
I got a sample of this with a DavidsTea order awhile back. I brought it to work last week, and decided to have it this morning. I opened the little packet (I hate the packaging for their loose leaf samples, BTW – I’m always afraid I’m going to get it all over the place trying to rip through the sticker, and ripping the sticker means I can’t read the label while I sip) and turned it into the brewing basket for the cup I use at work.
I took a sniff of the dry loose tea, and confusion sets in – I smell chocolate. I have never had a white tea that smelled of chocolate. Not malty, not cocoa-y – chocolate. I drank a chocolate flavored tea last week – did I not wash out my brewing mug and basket well enough last week?
Next issue – I sweeten black teas more than green or white, so I grabbed two packets of sweetener by habit, and poured them both in. I should have gone with one. It’s too sweet.
And it tastes of chocolate. There are only 3 reviews of this tea, none of them mention chocolate.
There’s a little bit of the vegetal taste I would expect. But there’s that chocolate too. And it’s overly sweet.
I’m so confused.
I love this Earl Grey. The strawberry flavouring is strong but definitely not overpowering. It’s a nice alternative to basic Earl Grey/black tea. I don’t find the strawberry flavouring to be too sweet or sickly. It is the perfect balance between fruity and rich flavour. Highly recommend!
Flavors: Bergamot, Earl Grey, Strawberry
