I love Grand Marnier…either with Duck a la Orange, in chocolate truffles, or in a stiff drink. This tea captures the flavor of it well. This is one of the best orange flavored teas I’ve ever had. It was a creamy like background to it that I love, but not to the point of being a orangesicle. Makes for a great iced tea. I like the black base in it, too. It has some orange zest in it and yellow petals from some flower.
Preparation
I brewed up a cup of this tea … maple is a delightful autumnal flavor.
Thank you to Ost for sending me more of this. I have tried this one in the past but it’s been years since I’ve had it so it’s nice to be able to taste it again.
Of course, I typed that before I actually took a sip of it. There is something … weird about this tea. Maybe my taste buds have become more “refined” – I chose this word instead of changed because it makes me feel better about not liking this tea as much as i used to. Maybe something is just off about this particular batch of Maple Tea. I don’t know. But it tastes off.
It tastes … like medicine. Maybe it needs to cool a little bit. So … I’ll give it a few minutes.
OK, five minutes later and I’m still getting a chemical, medicinal taste.
I’m very disappointed because I really enjoyed this a few years ago when I first tried it. And I love maple. But something about this isn’t working.
I had enjoyed it enough last time to give it a rating of 79. This time if I were rating it, I would give it a rating of much less… so in fairness to the fact that I did like it at one time, I’m just not going to give it any rating at all.
Backlog: I started my morning with this tea. It really is wonderful – the maple flavoring is just right. Nice!
What do you mean? Are you referring to Matcha Japanese Green Tea?
I tried it using hot water and stirring until frothy. It is highly vegetable brew. I have consume Barley Grass Juice Powder Green Magma and this Matcha drink made me think of the Green Magma as well.
I hope you don’t mind me replying. Best.
Very smooth black tea. It makes a wonderful iced tea. I picked up the strawberry flavor. It ends with the coconut. The flavors blend well nicely. I really enjoyed the tea. I loved the cream like taste it has. Had to add more leaves to make it a good strong iced tea. I would buy this again. I can’t afford a cruise along the Caribbean, this will do for now! :)
Preparation
I now have in my possession a very pretty matcha bowl from Etsy (courtesy of threewhales for Christmas)! And yes, I received some matcha and a whisk – so I’m completely set up. And yes, I have had 3 bowls of matcha since about 3:00 this afternoon. Have I mentioned that I love caffeine? Yum!
This stuff is AWESOME! I was skeptical – I always am when I encounter a tea bag. But, this is really good, and really easy. I brewed it overnight… and my half gallon pitcher is already almost gone – it is so delicious.
Minty but not overwhelmingly so, Sweet, buttery Sencha – not so heavy on the vegetative taste but there is some there… and a hint of smooth Matcha. Deliciously sweet without any additions except for maybe a couple of ice cubes. I like the combination of the buttery note from the Sencha and the minty combination of peppermint and spearmint. It is really good.
Very smooth strawberry taste. A little sweet. I think I will add a lot more dry leaf to brew next time, it came out kind of weak. I might brew it with twice the amount, like with Den’s teas perimeters for Japanese brewing. I drank it iced.
Preparation
I have never been to France which is truly a shame. But that doesn’t stop my love affair of French teas or French inspired teas.
I wasn’t sure if I would like this tea. Teas with roses seemed to be hit or miss with me. I LOVE this one. I love the black currants and lavender. It’s a wonderful blend, along with the light flavoring of rose. It’s delicious iced.
Smells great in dry state. And it’s one of the most colorful teas I have bought.
Preparation
I took this tea for work. I love tropical black teas, iced while I work. It makes the work day go by better.
I like the fruity flavor. It’s in a good strength. I prefer the passion fruit flavor in the Hawaiian Islands tea. This has more background flavor along with passion fruit, with some floral. It smells amazing. Makes a great iced tea.
Preparation
Thank you to TeaEqualsBliss for sending me some of this tea. She sent me just enough for a cup of hot tea and a full half-gallon of iced, which I am brewing now for tomorrow’s iced tea enjoyment. Yay!
This is really tasty. It’s on the sweeter side. The green tea is pleasant, not too grassy – and it melds nicely with the sweet berry flavor. I’m not getting too much of the berry tartness… this is all about the sweet of the berry, and that’s alright with me. I like!
Key Lime YUM! I LOVE key limes, even though they are an annoyance to get the juice out of. There’s a difference between normal limes and key limes. This tea isn’t lying when it says it has key lime! I love the lime strength, this is perfect. I really like the black tea in it, reminds me of a Nilgiri. Perfect for iced, which is how I made it. Puts me in the mood to get down to the Florida Keys and snorkel. When I make punches, I usually add tea, this tea would be a great addition to it.
If you are a Key lime addict like me, this tea rules.
Preparation
I am in such a mood for fresh warm peach crisp with some ice cream. But I shall settle with this!
I drank it iced. The peach flavor is in nice quantity. Aftertaste, I taste a little mint, very minimal though. It is on its own sweet. Beautifully colored dry leaf. It does tastes like it smells. I don’t think I am a fan of peach and rooibos together. I think I would rather drink it with black tea. I will go through the 1 oz sample with no problem.
Preparation
I went on a spending spree at Culinary Teas. I started with this one, since it sounded the best. It is good, mildly flavored. I would of loved more berry flavor. It has chucks of blackberries, red currant, bilberries(wild blueberries), and cranberries. I was hoping for more yummy bakery taste that are with other pastry item named teas. I wouldn’t get this one again, but wouldn’t turn it down if offered.
The story behind the muffin is tasty! I do want to go to the location this muffin is made and try it!
Preparation
A local tea shop sells this tea, it has a similar description, so I think this is probably the same tea, yay!
Anyway, I love this as an iced tea. The apple flavor comes out more than the pear, but it’s refreshing nonetheless. I steeped this for a good 20 minutes so I could drink it almost immediately, and the flavor is just right. It wasn’t weakened with the addition of ice, but it’s not overpowering…probably a benefit of it being a rooibos. It’s definitely going to be in my rotation of iced teas throughout the next few months.
Preparation
Enjoying this once more before sending the rest off to my SororiTea Sister, TeaEqualsBliss.
This is a really nice rooibos blend. No woody taste from the rooibos, just a mere hint of a nutty flavor. None of that weird aftertaste either. What I taste is raspberry. It tastes sweet and tart and quite authentic.
Very YUM!

Nice review I like orange but the zest kind scares me alittle is it extremly tart?
It’s not tart at all. It was really smooth. I am not a fan of bitter citrus teas. I really like this one.
