A spicy aroma. The flavor is spice with a bit of depth. vanilla perhaps.
Its ok. Nothing special, but I will finish what I have.

This is soooo good!
So spicy and exotic to me. It makes me think of drinking a melange tea from Dune (which may be because of watching that movie while drinking it, but it’s how I’d like to believe a tea made with melange would taste).
Gorgeous cinnamon and spice taste and scent. I found the taste significantly different in my older couple year box from my new box. Both delicious, but different spices coming to the forefront. The newer, fresher box reminds me of cinnamon hearts. Even without drinking this tisane, it’s worth making a cup just to smell it!
I like drinking this with milk and possibly sweetener.

A good medicinal herb tea; there is definitely a sinus clearing aspect to this, the menthol and/or mint. Add lemon & a shot of whiskey, perhaps some honey and you’re set for the night.

I know this is a cheap tea, but goodness I think this tea is delicious! It is very flavorful, no honey/sweetener needed at all. Perfect for fall afternoons.

Herbal & Decaf TTB

Since it’s been so chilly today, I had another cup from the box. This one I was very wary of because I generally don’t like teas that just rely on spices. This one actually did have some “bready” notes and was reminiscent of gingerbread cookies, but the spices were still very, very prominent. Surprisingly, the ginger I was expecting was nearly non-existent, but the other spices I associate with gingerbread were still there (weird) – the tea was mostly cinnamon and clove based to me.

I wanted something sweet while watching my show Colony. It smells just like sugar cookies. It is sweet but kind of weak. I added almond milk and it definitely satisfied my sweet tooth.

I’m a big fan of mint teas, and this one is a lovely addition to my cabinet. I discovered it two years ago I believe, and tried it based on the whimsical polar bears frolicking on the package. probably. anyways. I’ve gone through periods of drinking this tea all day every day for weeks, and I’ve gone through periods of not being that bothered over it. I’m not sure it’s for everyone, but for me at least it’s one of only a handful of teas I always always have in the house (which usually requires stocking up in december as it is seasonal). it’s gentle, festive, and a marriage between a mint and a dessert tea that I quite enjoy.

This tea is very delicious. I bought blueberry bliss tea from teavana and made that a bunch, but it was a hassle to make. I tried this tea and it tastes a lot like it. I love the rich blueberry taste when hot, and it’s also super great cold. It’s cool and refreshing . In the summer I make a big cup of it cold, and in the winter i make a big cup of hot. When I had my boyfriend try for the first time I think he fell in love haha. He and I both love the delicious true blueberry taste.

I really enjoy this tea. It’s a good one. The only problem I have with it, is that if you leave the tea bag in your cup too long, it gets really spicy- too spicy. If you take it out soon after it has turned a deep brown color and is to the taste you want, you should take it out to conserve that rich taste. With some sugar, it makes a great cup of tea.

I definitely feel more relaxed after drinking it. It’s more minty than I expected but I suppose that’s why it’s so effective. As far as taste goes, it’s pretty good for CS, but I’m still more partial to Sleepy Time and their Honey Vanilla Chamomile blend.

Actually tastes like gingerbread! It’s pretty tasty.

I’m having the cold brew I set up last night and I can’t decide if I like it better or worse than the hot cup. In the cold brew, the base layer is definitely a sweeter apple than the hot brew since the hibiscus is completely mellowed and really only present in color. However, what is present is cinnamon. Lots and lots of cinnamon. Unfortunately, its the weird cinnamon flavor that is weirdly fake and cloyingly sweet. It conflicts with the tiniest hint of caramel that is trying to fight its way through making for two different sweet flavors that don’t mesh at all. This one really just doesn’t seem to work for me.

In other news, I continued my efforts from last night (though technically this morning as it was around 12:30/1 am) to find yarn to crochet these cute snowmen. I needed two colors of yarn. So at around 12:30, I was checking out a crochet pattern and decided I need new yarn. Consequently, my mom and I decided to venture out to the 24hr Wal Mart up the street. Then, 2 hrs later we left with no yarn but a bunch of Batman and Marvel sweatshirts and this tea (which I was tricked into buying by Celestial Seasonings new packaging).

The color of the tea looked like plenty of hibby in the leaf but it is not tart. Unfortunately it is not caramel either and there is certainly no sea salt. Cinnamon is prevalent in this and a little bit of apple flavoring comes through right at the end but it’s a fake apple versus the taste of the fruit.

Actually, as I continue to drink I am getting more hibiscus which is making up part of the apple taste yet as the hibiscus comes out so does the caramel. It’s weird because the two flavors can be tasted at the same time and yet they aren’t blending. They are both there but both separate. I have this cold brewing as well so I guess we’ll see what happens with that.

Yeah, this is awesome with sweetener. Like a lemon sugar cookie with honey, if you add honey.

Got to try some, finally. It does taste like a sugar cookie, but a little bit on the artificial side for me. I’m actually surprised at how strong the orange peel is making it a bit more citrus than expected. I am glad I tried it, but I like Bengal Spice and Tension Tamer a lot more.

With that said, this is a definite desert tea that could go really well with milk and or cream and sugar.

This has long been one of my favorite herbal teas. You can use a spot of honey, but if you steep this long enough you won’t need it. Delightfully sweet and honestly peach, my orchard obsession is well sated by this in the off season.

I was surprised by how tolerable this tea was. I expect it will be even better cold brewed in the summer, perhaps added to lemonade. My experience with the hot brewed version was a nicely tart raspberry heavy herbal tea which needed very little sugar. I can understand how the acidic berry flavors are off-putting to many steepsters, but I was pleasantly amused by it.
