Yep, this is peppermint. Brews up strongly and is nice and relaxing after a long work week.

I love Celestial Seasonings Peppermint, so I knew I would love this one too!

It smelled wonderful as I first opened the box, like a very sugary candy cane, but as it steeped, I mostly picked up the obvious peppermint smell. The taste wasn’t as minty or sweet as I thought it’d be, but it was still very good. The most obvious, though subtle, flavors were mint, vanilla, cinnamon, and a hint of green tea.

I think I still prefer Celestial Seasonings other mint tea, but I won’t pass this up when I see it during the holidays. I’d definitely recommend it to others.

When your morning (or day) needs a kickstart, this is the perfect tea. I brew a pot of it, usually—3 bags—and let it steep. I’ve found that if you drink it right away, the bitterness is a bit too strong. But if you let it sit for five or ten minutes, it mellows into a very pleasant tea with notes of wood or bark and smoke. Not for everyone, of course, and not even for every morning—I honestly think that too much of this stuff could make your heart explode—but for those long days that you’re just dreading, or too tired to even think about? This tea will get you through.

Still prefer loose leaf cause it has more depth of flavor though.

Mint, chamomile, and other Ingredients make a tasty and calming mix :). Floral + minty, yum.

So, it was cheaper to throw in a box of tea to my amazon order than to pay for shipping, so that’s what I did. This came in a sampler pack of 5, which gets my cupboard number up to 67. It’s never been that high before. As mentioned though, it’s mostly all small samples and my number will only go down from here….

This is the tea that I was most skeptical about. Reading the name, I thought it was going to be cloyingly sweet, and reading the ingredients I thought it was going to be a blast of licorice. Since the ingredients are finely ground I only steeped the bag for 1 min and it still produced a strong cup. Surprise surprise- it actually does have a bit of a honey-vanilla flavour that doesn’t seem artificial to me or is cloyingly sweet! There is also a good, basic chamomile flavour and no gross licorice taste. I really enjoyed this tea, and I got my husband to try some and he liked it too. This may be a repurchase!

Pure chamomile tea always tastes great and this tea is no exception.

Honey and vanilla taste great with chamomile! It tastes great and is relaxing as you would expect from any chamomile.

Once again this is a pure peppermint tea but it just doesn’t taste quite as good or as smooth as the last few pure peppermint teas I drank. The ingredients says “Peppermint” and it almost tastes like it is made with a breath peppermint rather than peppermint leaves.

Tastes great and smells even better.

This is a chamomile based tea with spearmint and a few other background flavors.

When I opened the package I smelt mainly spearmint but when I started steeping the tea the chamomile smell and taste became the more dominant with the spearmint more background. I barely noticed the other ingredients.

This was a really pleasant lemon tea. It is called Lemon Zinger, I tasted the lemon but the way I prepared it I didn’t notice very much ‘zing’.

Pleasant fruity flavor but it is a bit more tart than I like.

This tea was perfect. Slightly sweet and peachy but I did not notice any tartness like many other fruit teas. I will definitely be buying this tea again.

I could taste the blueberry but the tea had a tart flavor from the other ingredients that was stronger than the blueberry. I enjoyed the tea but it wasn’t one of my favorites.

I cold brewed this overnight last night and it was really really good – I’m impressed! Normally this one is just okay but cold brewing really downplayed the orange notes and amped up the hibiscus which was fine by me! I used 4 bags/32oz of water. I’m cold brewing again tonight with 3 bags/32oz to see how that plays out.

This tastes kind of like Tang.. or a weird.. non-carbonated orange soda (which means next time I’m making this with seltzer!)

It’s alright, definitely very orangey, not my favorite CS tea at the moment but still fairly good. The orange is super tangy and overall fairly tart, and the other citrus flavors help the hibiscus shine through.

Fruity and quite tart. Next time I won’t steep the tea this long.

This smells and tastes excellent. This is one of my new favorites.

A nice berry flavor and a mild/background mango taste. Slightly sweet and a bit tart.

I tasted it a few times as it was steeping and it seemed to become more tart as it steeped. If you don’t like the tart flavor then try steeping for 3 to 5 minutes. If you like fruit teas more tart then leave the bag in.

This tea was WAY TOO SWEET! I finished the cup but it was a struggle.

The spice blend was ok but not that good but what really ruined it was the fact that it was overly sweet.

I tried it again blended with a regular chai tea thinking that it might make it taste better. unfortunately this blend was also a disappointment. Sorry but I just can’t recommend Bengal Spice.

I will end up giving the rest of the box away if I can find someone else who likes this stuff.

Just finished box 2 of 3 of this guy and I’ll have to stash the last one far far away so that I’m not tempted to finish it off!

I absolutely adore this one, it’s a good “anytime” tea and celestial really pulled off the apple flavoring well in this one (imo) compared to other apple based herbals I’ve had.

I picked up the last two boxes they had of this in the grocery store before I moved so I should be set until it’s back next fall! That being said, I haven’t had much tea in the past few days amidst the hustle and bustle of moving.

I’ve had to change my method of making tea. Before I was using a keurig for hot water and now I get to use a kettle (yay!) While unpacking I keep forgetting I even made tea so this keeps getting cold… Unfortunately, I’ve learned that this is not a good iced tea :/
