I had a bad experience with the English Afternoon Tea from Ahmad Tea before, because I found it to taste like a bergamot bomb, if there ever was one. I still remember that it was absolutely undrinkable plain, and therefore required tons of milk, but even that did not save the tea. Therefore, I was a bit hesitant when I was picking this up as it brought back those bad memories, but after finishing my first cup of this tea, I am so very glad that I bought it. At first, I didn’t even know that it was infused with bergamot, and all I was sensing was sweet notes of malt. After reading the description of this tea, the hint of bergamot is unmistakable, but it really serves to enhance the flavour of the tea and does not offend. I have 99 more tea bags to go, but I already can’t wait to buy another box of this. It’s that good.
Preparation
I know there are better lemon teas out there. This one is surprisingly subtle yet just tart enough to taste the lemon. It would probably be more refreshing on a warmer day. If you are looking for a milder lemon tea this one might be of some use. Will try again soon.
Flavors: Lemon

I purchased a sample box of Teas from Ahmed and i have to say this is my favorite one so far. Not too strong but not too mellow. A bit of honey & milk don’t affect the flavor much but it really doesn’t need much to still be a good tea.
Preparation
I just want to stress that this is my own opinion and that i am very new to drinking tea. I received Ahmad Tea Darjeeling in a sample pack of their teas off of Amazon. This is the first one i tried and i was not impressed with it only because it was a bit strong and bitter even with a bit of honey added. I would recommend to people who like strong teas but probably wont be drinking anymore myself.
Flavors: Bitter
Preparation
I have a penpal who also drinks quite alot of tea and we have a tea exchange going where we send old fashioned letters and swap teas. She sent me this tea recently to try. It’s is one of her favorites, but sadly not appealing to me. The color is gorgeous – a real fuschia, and the aroma is nice – but the taste is so bland – almost nothing. You get some light tartness from the rosehip, and some cherry but it’s so damn light!! Ingredients: rosehip peel, hibiscus flower, cherry pieces, natural cherry flavor. Steeped 10 mins, boiling water. Drank plain.
I really did not think that green tea would mix well with bergamot, but Ahmad proved me wrong. Both the green tea and the bergamot are light, and the combination works well. It easily held up to 4 steeps, and, like all other Ahmad teas, it is very inexpensive. I’m looking forward to drinking this one regularly.
Preparation
This is actually pretty good considering what I paid. The taste of the bergamot is nice and not too powerful. There is little bitterness to this tea. I like this. It may not be the quality of Whispering Pines but is very good when you consider the price differential. It’s got a nice flavor to it. Picked this up yesterday at my local Indian Market.
I brewed this once in a 16oz Teavana Glass Perfect Tea Maker/Gravity Steeper with 3 tsp leaf and 200 degree water for 3 minutes.
Preparation
Nice Earl Grey. Very easy to oversteep so it goes bitter. Recently bought it and experimented with all kinds of steep times and with doubling up on the bags. I wouldn’t go above 2 minutes steep time unless you plan to add sugar or milk to it.
Flavors: Bergamot, Citrus
Preparation
I wasn’t sure how much I would enjoy this tea, but it has a really nice strawberry candy flavor. It’s not my favorite strawberry black tea, and it isn’t much like the fruit, but it’s something I think I would like from time to time. Much better than my last cup, which apparently was awful.
Flavors: Candy, Strawberry
