drank Jungle Monkey Chai by Tea Xotics
714 tasting notes

Steep Information:
Amount: 3 tsp
Water: 500ml at 212°F
Tool: make your own paper teabag
Steep Time: a little over 5 minutes https://www.teaity.com
Served: Hot

Tasting Notes:
Dry Leaf Smell: pepper, so strong nothing else is making it to register as a small
Steeped Tea Smell: pepper, something sweet hiding under the pepper
Flavor: pepper! with a cinnamon sweet finish
Body: Full
Aftertaste: pepper!
Liquor: nearly opaque cloudy light orange brown

Post-Steep Additives:
added sugar
more cinnamon, hints of banana
chocolate coconut finish

I think this requires sweetening to bring out all the flavors.
Very fun!

I got this as part of my Amoda Tea subscription which i sadly can no longer afford. It was heat fun.

Looks like all your tasting notes are coming in as 1000 OZ / 29573 ML for the water amount. I’m assuming you didn’t put that in? Might be a bug…what was the value you meant to input?

Jason 11 years ago

Oh, looking at your tasting note i realize you listed it as 1000ml. Be sure to adjust the unit when you add your tasting note. Right now it default to oz, so all your amounts are being input as 1000 oz.
