100 Tasting Notes
I picked up this tea from a mobile tea shoppe at a craft fair. It smells wonderful and has a delicious fruity flavor, but it overpowers the tea flavor somewhat. I may cut it with some plain black tea so that it will be perfect for me.
Preparation
Coffee or tea? I know that they are usually mutually exclusive, but after I smelled this last week I couldn’t forget it, I had to break down and buy a cup on my pilgrimage to David’s Tea today. It tastes just as good as it smells, and if it doesn’t keep me up tonight, I may drink it regularly.
Flavors: Cinnamon, Coffee
I tried a hot cup of this tea for the first time today. It was very smooth and the pinapple flavor was outstanding. It was sweet, but without sweetener I thought that it could use a little more sweet. If I were an ice tea drinker, I think that I would drink gallons of it iced.
I couldn’t remember whether I had tasted this tea before, so I got it today. I may have had it. It is not memorable. But that’s not necessarily a bad thing when I think about the terrible artificially flavored citrus teas that tasted like Tang when they cooled. This isn’t bad.
Flavors: Mango
I had a cup of this today for the first time. It is enjoyable, but doesn’t have quite as much flavor as some other chocolate teas. That being said, I’ll probably drink it again, but not without wishing that it was David’s Earl of Valentine tea.
Flavors: Dark Chocolate
