310 Tasting Notes
So far, to me, this doesn’t have a lot of flavor. I’ll let it cool more and see if anything comes out. Right now it just tastes generic-white to me, nothing special or distinct.
As it cools it doesn’t get much more depth to it. Maybe a very, very, barely there hint of melon.
It’s not bad and I’ll finish the pot, but I’d not buy it.
Preparation
Having this again after a long time away.
The scent is complex but not overwhelming… light with berry notes.
Again the taste has so much to it. The burnt flavor of a black tea in the middle of the tongue, a bit of berry to it, a bit astringent, leaves a clean feeling in the back of the throat. Light finish throughout the mouth.
Preparation
This smells fairly unremarkable with a plain “black tea” scent. No noticeable notes stand out.
Ditto on the flavor. It tastes like a run-of-the-mill black tea… not strong in any particular flavor, no pleasing feeling of balance… just plain old generic black tea.
Not bad tasting at all, but I’m going to pour this cup out and try something else. It really has nothing about it that grabs me and makes me want to finish the cup.
Preparation
Another nice jasmine scented tea from Red Blossom. I bought this and their Supreme as I ran out of their Organic and it’s now out of stock.
This is a very jasminey tea. Round mouth feel, jasmine finish in the back of the nose that lingers.
I’m not getting any of the “buttercream” taste to it. But maybe I will after it cools a bit, we’ll see. For now it’s just a nice, strong, jasmine white.
Preparation
Forgot what I’d previously rated this when I found it in my stash while looking for something I don’t normally drink. So here goes another try of it, steeped a little longer than before.
I like it better than before and am raising my rating, but it’s not at all a favorite.
