2810 Tasting Notes
I’ve been drinking this at work, where it has done very well. I like this blend, but I don’t love it, and doubt it will be a repeat.
Its the sort of breakfast style blend that would really be better with milk and sugar, and as I almost never drink those, it’s not quite my thing.
Still, always happy to try new teas!
Goodness, but it’s been a very busy week.
In the last week I have-
1. Gone to the hospital because of severe and unexpected neck pain (I’m fine!)
2. Worked a full week
3. Done the last full weekend of the play I am in
4. Started two new knitting projects
5. Caught the office cold. Ow. My throat.
So I’ve been drinking tea non-stop, and this has been fully sipped down.
I’m sure I’ll bring it back, when the chance presents itself. I think of it more as a spring and summer tea, and I am ready for the winter flavors.
So, sipdown!
So I’d brought this with me to work, for casual work sipping, and I cleaned it off yesterday.
I have not been inclined to log it, which should tell you what I think about it.
It was almost a non entity, hardly registering as I drunk it down.
I’m afraid I find that to be a common factor for almost all Bird and Blend teas…. ok, but not enough to really impress me.
The weather has finally cooled down, and I am drinking all the autumnal teas.
This is more a cup of spices than anything else, and I find the hibiscus an odd addition to the blend.
Lets see if playing the steep time out will bring more of the doughnut flavor out.
Monday!
The performances over the week went better and better, though I was thoroughly exhausted by the end of it.
Today I am feeling a little more rested, and am ready to face the week.
I have a lot of Nanowrimo to write this week. Rehersal and the shows have been eating my time, so I am quite behind, but I will figure it out.
So, for today, so nice relaxing lavender to help my day.
Opening night of the play I’m in was last night! It went alright, not overwhelmingly good (we had some technical problems) , but I’m pleased with it and am looking forward.
I am, however, completely exhausted today, and had work this morning.
Help me, lovely tea!
I’ve decided to bring this as the current work desk tea, as its very nice. It will be a good work companion, solid, dependable, strong.
And strong is needed this week. Tech week is progressing just as tech week always does, which is to say it makes you wonder why you ever decided to peruse the arts at all.
So, right on schedule then.
It also means late nights, so a strong work tea is absolutely essential
Its Tech Week, and if you’ve ever been in a play before you know that means that this is the point where you rethink all your life decisions and get to bed veeery late.
So I am going to need all the tea this week, and the good stuff too.
Uuuugh.
But Tower is proving a sweet and nurturing friend this week, and I am very glad to be drinking it.
