335 Tasting Notes
I followed the recipe that was floating about on the reviews. I really love that, and will ue it for some other chai tea I have around! For those who been there before, map out an experience for the rest of us. I appreciate that! It really brings out the best of the tea.
Now with the tea, I am very picky about chai tea. I like them STRONG. And this tea did stand up. I even prefer MORE spice and bite, maybe some more ginger. But still nice, and perfect on a California dreaming on such a winter’s day.
Preparation
Looks like a white, smells like a white, tastes like a white. The tea I got looks different from laurenpressley’s pictures. They are longer leaves twisted and no fuzz.
I do get a little minty feel at the end of a sip, more of the sensation of mint than flavor. Interesting. It’s a very light tea.
My review would of leaned towards why this tea wasn’t for me, but then when it cooled down, it opened up. I really need to stop judging so quick! I don’t think I would buy, but it’s a likable tea. Very shy in flavor, just be patient for she’ll be flirting with your taste buds in no time!
Preparation
I wouldn’t use hotter water, 180 max. I’d increase the leaf amount and the steeping time. You could try 3g tea/180 degrees/3 min. But most whites are light.

I got an early Christmas gift to myself, and bought the sampler. This tea I was looking forward to, and boy, it isn’t a letdown! I see where you the others taste cream soda, that’s a perfect item to compare it to.
It’s smartly blended, vanilla and jasmine are in right strengths. Drank it iced, it was perfection. I think this is the best jasmine tea I’ve had yet. I love real vanilla, and this is it! Very nice and delightful! This is definitely on my shopping list.

Thank you LiberTEAS for an awesome sample of this! This is a real mild Earl Grey. It was perfect I think, nothing overpowering. It is just right! I really appreciate it. I am picky when a tea is flavored. It can be a small window of what’s too little or too much. Really nice black tea in it too.
I absolutely love it iced! Really enjoyable.
Preparation
I am new to the oolong world,and I am loving it! This is my first experience with Big Red Robe. It’s a blacker oolong with a looong after taste. Chestnut and hazelnut like. Roasted pungency.
It’s interesting its claim is this tea “heals stomach ailments”. I had the tea with a greasy gyro. Usually, I have a little upset stomach but nothing. No tums needed! There might be something to this claim.
At first sip, I didn’t know what to think. After my second brew, I became a fan. It needs to win you over.

I’ve got some big red robe that I’ve been putting off trying, and I’m not sure why. But this review helps get me to stop putting it off and just try it already!
This has become one of my favorite teas. Impossible to oversteep, no need for sugar or milk, it is my go to tea. toasty w/o being smoky.
“toasty w/o being smoky” That’s exactly what is tastes like! Take the dive and try it. I had it sitting around, not knowing how nice is was.
I get gift cards to here. I wouldn’t exactly go out of my way to order from here otherwise. But I love this drink, with the black tea. I will try the passion tea with it next time. I have had passion tea on its own, and wasn’t much a fan.
Even though I prefer my own Arnold Palmer (made with fresh limeade), but this is good!
I like mine either no syrup, raspberry instead of classic, or half black, half passion (no syrup needed, but vanilla or raspberry is a nice touch). Was absolutely best w/ the green ginger though.

If you just want lemonade- mint and raspberry are good. A mint passion lemonade would be good I assume since passion fruit is… well… fruity. lol. Just haven’t had it myself to prove my theory.
I saw my local grocery store carried this. I knew I had to pick one up. Madison’s review goes along the lines of how I feel about this tea. There is coconut in this tea, but it’s the young coconut flavor, which I am not a fan. I drank the bottle. It was not what I thought it would be.
I like Honest Tea bottled, but this? Nah, I’ll pass.
A friend sent this to me after I sent her a sizable package of teas. I seriously had to clean my tea cupboard, and I was rewarded very nicely with this tea. It was a little buttery to me, and that’s such a good thing. I am onto my 4th rebrew.
I really liked trying this as a sample at the store, I just didn’t want to buy it since the the sales lady was watching me like a hawk from each place I took a sample. I might take the advice from others and try this tea from another provider, since it’s on the expensive side. Aside from that, still a nice oolong. I am new in the world of oolongs, but I really like this kind.
