Well, this tea is a lot more potent than its teabags from butler cafe brethren have been so far. The green tea comes through clearly, but with flowery and tropical fruity notes as well. Reminds me a bit of Toasted Walnut, but fruitier.
It is, perhaps, still on the light side, but light in a meant-to-be way, rather than being too light for the tea to shine. Definitely resteeping this.

Well, I think I can confirm that these bags were meant with teacups in mind. Having it in a smaller mug made for a better experience than with Winter Palace Marzipan, but not quite up to the standards that I’m used to from this tea. Good, but not great.

Still, I LOVE THIS TEA and was glad for the chance to sip it this morning, I was craving it and it is definitely a favourite of mine.

A few friends of mine run a butler café of sorts, which they run at a few events. A friend of mine got a box of tea at their reformation, and between one thing and another, it recently ended up in my hands.

I’m now planning, over the next few days, to drink all the teas from it. It aught to be a delicious few days. :) Tea companies are according to the one who packed them and not officially on the packaging, so I am trusting her memory.

I’m actually slightly torn at the first few sips of this tea — I’ve had it before and it’s been lovely and almond/marzipan-y, but I’m not getting it this time with the freshly made tea. It could be that there’s not enough actual tea — the sachets seemed on the small size.

Overall… I get a bit of the aftertaste, but I’m not getting the tea’s flavour much at all. It’s much more… pleasantly flavoured water than tea, if you will.

So, yes. It’s a bit of a shame, as I know it can be better than this, but this cup isn’t quite tasting as wonderfully as it should.

Another tea in my cupboard that I forgot even existed. Geez I need to keep more on top of my collection, but I guess that’s what happens when you really amass a collection. I think I might have scalded the leaves a bit, accidentally, but they seem to be doing decently regardless (thank goodness, I was worried I’d end up with a bad cup….)

Upon first scent, the rose is what hit me first, along with a bit of sweetness from the pomegranate. Taste-wise, I’m getting the vegetable flavour from the tea mainly, but it’s balanced nicely with the rosy and pomegranate notes.

I don’t know if I’d call myself fully seduced, but I’m certainly enjoying the cups. More on a friendship level, but I’d be glad to get to know it better for sure. :)

From English Breakfast yesterday to Davids Organic Breakfast today; I seem to be in the mood for straight black morning teas lately. Nothing wrong with that, though. :)
This tea, though, seems a little metallic, and not quite on the mark on its own.
I have a theory of why that wouldn’t actually be the tea’s fault, but… I actually do think it might just be the tea. In which case… oh well. You can’t win every time, and it’s probably just dandy with milk.

At first scent, I thought that this tea was going to be oversteeped. It doesn’t taste it though, instead seeming very flowery, fruity, and just a bit sweet. I’m actually enjoying this quite a bit more than I thought I would!

Finishing up the last of this in my tea stash. I’d actually completely forgotten about it! (Thank goodness for finding things in your own cupboard, and one more reason why I need to do more sipping.)

The first few steeps tasted exactly like a tropical fruit punch. It’s lost that a bit as its cooled off a bit, but it still gives a very nice, tropical aftertaste. While it’d be better if it kept this first impression, that’s still not bad!

This tea smelled just right for this morning, so I decided to go for it. It’s nice; minty and musky, and a little creamy. I wish it were a bit more musky though, I think it would balance out a little better. But it’s pretty darn good as is too. I’m glad I made a pot, rather than just a cup of this after all; I was debating the latter.

For some reason, this tasted kind of chemically for me. Admittedly it’s not the newest of tea bags, so it may have been just past its prime. Perhaps I’d feel differently with a newer batch. Oh well.

This tastes… sweet and a little fruity to me. I can taste the blueberry, but especially as a fan of such things as blueberry soup, I can’t say that this is the best way to have my blueberry fix. It’s just a little too sweet and not blueberry-y enough.
