Last tea of the night for me. I’m drinking it to celebrate the end of my shift. Of course I’ll probably hack a few portals on the way home (Ingress) but I won’t do any missions until my day off. I’m tasting maple cupcake. I think I may have a maple addiction… (knows full well about her maple addiction)

Thank goodness I was running a stop watch and not a timer or I wouldn’t know how long this steeped. I got a bit busy and before I knew it, it was 5:43 minutes. It didn’t suffer for it though which is good. Right now this is making me think of pancakes once you mix it with your jam and syrup. I think maybe I should eat more before I cycle to work.

So I managed to squeeze 15km in before work this morning on my bike in 28C (80F) weather. I was feeling a bit dehydrated once I got to work. So I brewed up a cup of this. It tastes just like cotton candy and I’m almost finished the bag. I won’t be sad to see it go as I prefer other blends (lemon pound cake I’m staring at you) but it was nice to have for a bit.

So this is not my favourite, I actually got it for Mom but she like me preferred the Madagascar Vanilla instead. So I got stuck with this one. This one is sweeter I think. It has more in common with DT Vanilla Matcha minus the sugar of course.

I had this first thing this morning and it’s still my favourite vanilla from the now named Matcha Outlet. Curiously I couldn’t find the cinnamon matcha on there so I wonder if they got rid of it when they moved from Red Leaf Tea to Matcha Outlet. I don’t need to order more of this just yet but it’s always on my list of creamy vanilla yumminess.

I went for five minutes this time. Either I’m getting brave or a bit reckless with my steeping. I’m tasting fruitiness.. and burnt tongue. Oh wait the burnt tongue was all me because I was impatient to drink my tea so ignore that.(did not actually taste a burnt tongue) Yeah I can’t place the fruit taste but it’s definitely there.

Right now this tastes like the good raspberry syrup that you would put on your ice cream. Or just raspberry ice cream itself…

Maple pumpkin? Yeah that’s definitely what I’m feeling from this tea right now. It makes me think of bobbing for apples actually… I’m not sure why but that’s the memory that pops up when drinking this right now… Halloween can’t come soon enough apparently.

A very nice creamy lemon pie. You definitely get the lemony pound cake flavour out of this. It tastes like it just came out of the oven.

Well this has a lovely bit of caffeine to it. I get lemon and ginger in the taste and I swear a bit of orange as well. The orange is pretty faint though.
