768 Tasting Notes
Not a fan of floral teas, but I figured I’d give it a try since it came in a mystery box. The main flavors are jasmine and lemon. If this is the sort of thing you like, you’d definitely like this one. I feel pretty indifferent toward it, but that’s just my taste talking. I can tell that it’s a good tea.
Thanks to Plum Deluxe for the sample! The main flavor here is the rooibos with the caramel flavor adding some sweetness/dessertness. I feel like you can also sense the black tea and the almond in some sips. The almond isn’t an amaretto-like almond, but more of a natural nuttiness. This blend is decent, but I’m not sure I prefer it over similar blends I could get at Adagio for much cheaper per ounce.
This is way weaker than I expected. I overleafed it the second time I tried it so that I could get a better sense of the flavor. It’s a bit tart. I prefer a light, refreshing orange flavor, but this was heavier with the sour ingredients. The flavor is okay, but not unique or interesting in any way.
This tea was just as delicious as I had hoped it would be. So sweet and minty and authentic. The flavor truly is like a candy cane. You get some nice tingling from the mint, and the flavor lingers for a long time. Really super great.
I ALMOST sent you some of this, but I thought mine might be a little less fresh than I’d like. I did try it after I boxed up your teas and it was slightly different tasting, so I’m glad I didn’t end up sending you any. :D
I didn’t love the scent of this one, but the flavor is pretty nice! It’s like a blueberry pineapple mixture. It’s a bit fake tasting, but decent, especially when compared to many of their other fruit blends. Still not great compared with other brands, but decent for ETS.
This brewed up lighter than I expected. The main flavor comes from the spices. It’s not spicy, but desserty in its spicedness. It doesn’t need milk at all. The flavors come together quite well, and the only thing that could make it better is if it had some bready quality to it since that would seem to be what its name suggests. And the salted caramel is also missing. So this is a nice desserty chai, but it doesn’t really match its name.
Although the chocolate flavor isn’t too deep, this is tasty enough. Chocolate and rooibos combine to create a decent flavor. It’s not very exciting, but it’s okay. I like the rooibos they use. If you’re looking for a chocolate tea though, this really isn’t the one.
The zipper on my bag of this broke the first time I opened it, which hasn’t happened before. Although the pancake bacon one has a bit of a similar smoky element, I don’t enjoy it much here. The flavor is mostly the smoke with a hint of something else, which I guess is supposed to be the pineapple, but it’s not distinct. This one just didn’t work for me. Milk improves the flavor, but it’s just not delicious. Love the idea for this one though.
I didn’t love this one at first, but I left it in the fridge and took it to work in the morning, which seemed to help mellow any weird flavors it had. It turned into a pretty generic fruit tea. Couldn’t really say what fruit it’s supposed to be. It’s not too sour, just not too special either.
Thanks to amandastory516 for this tea! It tastes mostly just like genmaicha, which I love. The marshmallow came through as a little sweetness. Definitely more noticeable as it cools. So this tea is delicious due to the fact that it’s genmaicha, but I would have liked a little more marshmallow in there. The sweetness was fun though.
