I think I saved a bag of this from a recent tea box. It’s herbaceous in an interesting way. I suppose it probably tastes like itself, though I have nothing to compare it to. I had it plain, and it was nice and refreshing on a busy day. I wouldn’t order a box since I don’t go for herbaceous teas very often, but this one is perfectly fine.

The flavor here is really pleasant – just a bit fruity with some other spices in there. I’m having it a little warm, and it’s really nice. It’s just the perfect combination with this green tea. The flavor lingers in my mouth. I’m glad these green teas keep turning out well because the way I steep them is somewhat chaotic.

I drank this while moving to a new townhouse, so I didn’t have a chance to take notes as I drank it. I had intended to add milk, but really, it didn’t need it! The chocolate was light and pleasant. Definitely not the highest of quality deep chocolate flavor, but it was a nice hint. The black tea was tasty with the chocolate. Not nice enough to buy again, but good.

I steep this one for a really long time to make sure I get a strong flavor from it – like 20+ minutes. The resulting flavor is pretty tasty! You get both the banana and maybe some light nuttiness. It creates a thick sludge in the bottom of the cup, so watch out for that on your last mouthful. The second steep is pretty good too. It definitely tastes more like banana chips than fresh banana, but I’m just glad it tastes like some form of real banana. I don’t think I’d go out of my way to purchase this one since its weight means you don’t get much for your money. But I would always say yes if it were offered in some sort of magical free method.

I don’t enjoy lime flavoring generally, and I often don’t prefer green tea blends. But this one showed up in a mystery bag that I ordered, so hey I tried it. Yeah, I’m not loving it. It has the lime I don’t like and the green tea that gets too bitter and intrusive for me. I do like the soda flavor, but sadly there’s only a hint of that in the background. I tried a cold brew as well, but that seemed to only amp up the unpleasant lime. I accidentally left it out overnight, and when I tried it again in the morning, the soda flavor was suddenly coming through quite clearly. So I guess cold brew plus letting it sit is the way to go? Though I still do taste the negative/bitter flavors, they’re not so strong now. Also I have never noticed a single hint of cherry.

This tastes very similar to almond black teas I’ve had in the past. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I might be growing tired of this sort of tea. The almond flavor is nice, if a little weak. There’s also not much tea included in the leaf, so this is a low caffeine version. The resteep tasted similar to the first. I don’t taste any hint of pistachio, only almond. Anyway, this tea is nutty and largely what you’d expect if you’re imagining an almond tea. Eventually, I decided to embrace its almondness, and now I drink it with almond milk. It’s much better this way. Now I won’t drink it without almond milk.

As a chai, this is pretty weak. Very mild spices. It tastes mostly like rooibos and sweetness, though it’s not a super pleasant rooibos. I really love S&V’s green rooibos and their black tea, but maybe their red rooibos isn’t for me because none of these blends are working for me. It’s not like this tea is horrible. It’s just really not what you would expect. It’s not chai at all.

I was disappointed to find that this tea tastes almost like plain black tea. I mean, it’s good black tea, but I wanted to taste the spices. I wanted it to be egg nog! I added milk, and it tastes like a perfectly pleasant black tea.

The nuts smell so good, but when I took my first sip of this, it was jarringly sour, salty, and weird. Maybe it’s oversteeped, but I usually steep herbals like this for a long time with no problem. I added a lot of milk, and it actually tastes really good now. Such a contrast to my earlier experience. Suffice it to say, I don’t know how to rate this one.

This tea reminds me of the 52teas blueberry coconut flavor. I didn’t drink it with milk because I don’t want to cover any of its subtle flavors. I wouldn’t say that the name is totally accurate, but it tastes lightly desserty, and the berry comes through deliciously. Yep, this is a great one. I drank the second steep with milk, and the flavors were much more muted, but still good.
