This tea, the leaves, the brew, taste and aroma, is so beautifully complex, rich and indeed luxurious, I could not possibly describe it after my first cup.

So, I will steep another cup and see where I go from there.

I do completely enjoy this wonderful tea, an epitome of how Darjeeling is the champagne of teas.

These are indeed nicely scented and very attractive leaves, long and slender and sweet.

The brew is very thick and earthy, with a deep golden color.

But the taste is more nutty than earthy, in fact very nutty, which I really like.

A great Darjeeling tea to accompany an afternoon Vancouver Canucks matinee game.

This is a weird blend I have done.

I’m not sure if they blend well, it doesn’t taste out of place as both seem to fit each others, but it just tastes weird.

The Skinny Chai Pu-erh seems to soften the rooibos, as there are more flavors vying for attention.

It is much fruitier, and the oolong seems more prominent now.

It is weird, but I like it.

Although not as good, this blend still works with the rooibos tea enough to make it very enjoyable.

The smell is gorgeously delicious, with such colorful fruity scents and toasted nutty undertones, as well as a hint of cinnamon spice.

But, the taste is even better, as both fruit and toasted nut flavors swirl around the (unfortunate) mostly rooibos and oolong teas.

Yes, the initial fruit and nut flavor fades as you sip more of the brew, the rooibos seems to always want to take over, which is again unfortunate.

Not the best blend of rooibos tea, as usually expected, but not the worst either.

By far, this is the best honeybush tea I’ve ever had.

I am not a honeybush and rooibos tea drinker, the taste of those teas usually overpower the flavor of the blends they were intended for, especially rooibos.

The instant I had opened the bag, the aroma of pineapples and coconuts literally jumped at me, and I assure you the scent is very heavenly.

But, this is still honeybush tea, so I had still reserved my judgement until I tried the tea.

The beautiful thing is, this blend really works with the honeybush taste, as the pineapple and coconut help transform into a very bright pina colada flavor.

I’ve had this tea for a good while now, as the honeybush had worried me, but I am glad I finally decided to try this on the day the weather starts to turn into the minus degrees.

I may have returned to the office a bit too early.

I really needed this tea at the end of this day.

Still very light, smoky and smooth, this green tea returned at least a bit of energy I had this morning.

Back at work, but not entirely better from being sick.

Despite the failure to cure myself completely, I deserve a cookie for my efforts these past four days.

Because I’ve been living mainly on green tea and yogurt whilst being sick, I can ease my way back to the harsh reality by drinking a cookie, or even better this tea.

Still as delectable as ever.

Because I’ve been sick all week, I’ve been drinking this all day.

I’m not much of a green tea drinker, but when you’re sick, green tea is great to drink.

The Gyokuro Imperial green tea taste is mild enough to go down easy, but strong enough to keep you alert.

The herbal Lemon Youkou adds a subtle citrus flavor and helps ease the green tea.

I have had this tea with rock sugar, but it is great without as well.

I believe I had this blend made for me in one of the Teavana locations the last time I had been in Chicago, which was around mid-April of last year.
